after being home for less than 24 hrs, it’s right back to the good ole hospital for my pops. the most frustrating thing is that this is the man who represents a real life superman to me. I’ve never seen him bow to anything, but this sickness that has him now is proving a very formidable foe. As I’ve asked so many times in the past week, keep my father in your prayers!!!

at a point in my life where crucial decisions must be made!!! with a baby on the way in a few months and health problems with my pops, i’m finding it necessary to cut back on my expenses and try to save in areas that aren’t absolute necessities. So of course. . .the gym membership has to go!! no need to fret though, i’m from the old school where jumpropes, weighted vests and cinder-blocks are enough to build a hard body. Besides, i think that my wife deserves to have more time with her husband right? What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger and more appreciative!! One favor though, since the TV is going too, I’m going to need you guys’ help staying up to date on all of the football games, T.I. case, and Mike Vick! Don’t worry, the Internet is staying as it is necessary for my work and the wife’s school. This too shall pass!!!
And no, i’m not resigning from office of PRESIDENT!!!!! (ya’ll gonna have to impeach me)

took my measurements yesterday & i’m seeing progress so I’m well pleased. for the second consecutive week i’ve decreased my bf % and I’m now down to 15.46% from 19.8% a little more than a month ago. Although i’m not making the type of progress that I had hoped for (i don’t think i will ever be satisfied with my progress) i know that slow motion is better than no motion!!! I’m giving myself another month to see drastic changes. My ultimate goal is to add 10 pounds of muscle, but first i need to get my bf down to 10%. once again, i’m increasing my cardio to 45 mins this week and paying more attention to my diet. . . .HERE WE GO!!!
***My dad was released from the hospital yesterday and is back home resting! thanks for everyone who prayed for him!!God is still in the healing business!!!!!

I made it!!!! body aching from really pushing myself, but now it’s REST time!!!! I think that as good as my workouts have been lately, my attitude is what has actually improved the most. I’m loving life, the wife, and the idea of being a new daddy in a few months. this is all really pointless, but I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Went back to homecoming in Big Bama this past weekend with the wife & needless to say, we had a blast. Apart from the fact that Troy kicked North Texas’ butt. . .I got to see all the people I graduated with 4 yrs ago!! (Now this is where the evil side of me comes out) I don’t really have any friends that I wanted to see. I had haters that I wanted to let see me and the mrs. All of those people who were telling my wife, “you know how those football players are. . .you know he a ho!” YEAH!!! It really felt good to see everyone look at us and be like damn, ya’ll looking good. . .especially you Neal. The best part about it all was that my wife is 6 mos pregnant and still the most gorgeous woman I have seen to date. The same people oogling over me were those witches telling her to steer clear. My wife is an extraordinary woman. . .she’s a better person than I am because she never said anything about it to their faces. . .but she kept giving me the “if this witch don’t get out my face I’m gonna choke her a$$” look. I know that it doesn’t pay to be spiteful, but i’m not the cause of it, i’m just the instrument (that’s what I tell myself to make myself feel better). . . .In short, nan nan na boo boo. . .. but I work hard to get where I am!!! Either do the same or just continue to stare from the sideline!!!

just want to ask all of you praying people out there to keep my father in you prayers as hehad to be rushed to the hospital yeterday. . .He just celebrated his 86th b-day this month, so anytime doctors are talking about doing surgery on someone elderly there are a myriad of things that can go wrong. . .but this too shall pass!!! thx

Had a great workout after work today. Only problem is that I took my measurements tonight, and I’m kinda disappointed in the results. Still weighing the same but my body fat % increased. . .damn!!!! Chest measurements decreased. lower body showing promise. thighs got bigger and less fat on thighs & calves. biceps increasing in size too. still holding weight around mid-section. not all bad though, maybe with decrease in fat everywhere else, waist has to be next. . .gotta kill myself in the gym this week

I’m a patient person, but c’mon. . .I’m killing myself and hardly seeing any NEW results. Of course I’m seeing an increase in muscle mass and strength, but that’s never been a problem. I’m starting to get fed up with the lack of fat loss. I’m doing everything by the book and nothing seems to be working. . . I’m not complaining right now, just venting so when I get back in the gym after work I won’t have any distractions. Something’s got to happen and it has to happen now. I’m taking my measurements tonights and for some reason I have a feeling that I am not going to be pleased with them at all. Hell, I’ll be glad to lose .5% bodyfat (let alone the 2% that I was shooting for this week). If that doesn’t happen, maybe I’ll be better served to call Cousin Pookie have him bring his straight razor, vacuum, and alcohol for a lil ghetto lipo!!! Now it’s time to get my mind right!!!!
