Well everyone, it’s been quite a while since my last entry, but 2007 was a stressful year and kind of sucked a$$ with regards to training and nutrition. I planned on doing my first competition and that didn’t work out very well. I had a new born, wife, school, and a full time job, and it was a combination of all of those that didn’t really leave a lot of time to train. I ended up gaining a $hitload of weight, weighing 293 at the heaviest, which now I have lost 20 of over the last few months. Now that Aric is 1 years old and sleeps through out the night now and I’m not waking up 3 times through out the night and waking at 6 for work all day, I get more rest and am not as tired anymore. So I am ready to kick a$$ and get back in the gym on a consistant basis and start doing cardio 2x/day (AM and PM after weights). My diet will be sound and no more eating $hit because it’s easy and quick. So my goals for 2008 include weighing as much as possible while getting my BF% under 10% year round. I want this to be the first summer I don’t sit by the pool with my shirt on because I’m too ashamed of my fat stomach. Sure I have a huge chest, delts, and arms now, but it doesn’t mean anything if I don’t have a six-pack to go along w/ it. I’m tired of everyone thinking I’m a college football player and not a bodybuilder. It’s time for a change!

Officially back in action… joined a new gym (used to go there 3 years ago when I made awesome progress), diet has been tight, workouts have been good. So progress is moving in the right direction! I was up to a weight of 280lbs in March and now am down to 263lbs, I hit the beach this Friday for a week. Holla @ me!

I just placed my order for the Hydroxycut Hardcore and Gaspari Thermogenic Thyrotabs this morning and I am going to be keeping a blog of my progress/results on here. After having some set backs from the gym over the last 2 months, I am ready to get back at it seriously again! I’ll keep track of my workouts, diet, supplements, and my progress w/ weekly measurements. So stay tuned for it when I get it all in the mail!

Wednesday October 11, 2006- Delts, Traps
With all of this busting my damn balls everyday I weighed my self and came up 5 lbs heavier! Now I am @ 270lbs, WTF!?! I am getting so irritated w/ this crap, I can get the same results NOT doing any cardio! I don’t eat anything that is bad for me, my portions are small, and I don’t over eat! I am going to gte my BF% testing the last weekend of the month so we’ll see if it was some muscle that I added and not fat! Hopefully that is the case.
Weights

DB Lateral Raises: 3×12- 35lbs
Seated Bent DB Lateral Raises; 3×12- 30lbs
Wide-Grip Barbell Upright Rows: 3×12- 75lbs

Tuesday October 6, 2006- Arms (UPDATED)
I was feelin like CRAP b/c I cut myself short earlier today during my workout and plus I was getting so TIRED of homework running my life. It’s not like I need this sh^$y degree for anything, I just wanted to add to my resume. I’m a bodybuilder and that comes before school to me, b/c I already have a kick ass job teaching for the university making good money. So I went back to the gym when my wife left for some party thing. So in addition to the things I did earlier, I did:
Weights
Barbell Skull Crushers: 3×12,10,5- 95,115,135lbs
Barbell Curls: 2×12- 95lbs (in addition to the 3 sets I did earlier)
DB Kickbacks: 3×12*- 30lbs
DB Hammer Curls: 3×12- 35lbs
1-Arm Reverse Grip Pressdowns: 3×12- 36lbs
Cardio: 35 min Treadmill- 712 Calories Burnt
Abdominals:
Swiss Ball Crunches: 3×20
Calves:
Angled Calf Raise Machine: 3×15- 120lbs
Seated Calf Raises: 3×12-15- 90lbs
