New Gym Equipment
About five years ago I bought a Soloflex because I got tired of going to the gym and compared to other home gyms, it had a realitively small footprint and the exercies were pretty similar to traditional movements. Over time I added some free weights and a treadmill, but now I'm trying to transition back to freeweights. I was really close to joining a local gym but instead, I ordered Powertec half rack and I'm pretty stoked about doing "real" sqauts in my basement. When I get out of church tomorrow, I'll stop by Dicks Sporting Goods and pick up a 300lb set of olympic weights to get started.  The next two additions will be the matching Powertec adjustable bench and a set of Ironmaster dumbbells, then my gym will be complete.  Who else trains at home?Â

Mr. Hyde, I'm been building a bit of a home gym, too. Too much temptation of several kinds at the gym, and I've a 13 yr old nephew I'd like to see start this; going to use the cost of gym memberships for the two of us to stock my basment.
