I believe that one of the greatest gifts that bodybuilding gives it’s students is the gift of becoming more intune with one’s body. Perhaps by reducing the bodybuilding processs to the minimum gain/loss equation one can learn to simplify and perfect. Polishing and adjusting one’s effort in the most direct and purest form. What is bodybuilding - if not knowledge of the inner workings of the mysterious human machine.

I have been bodybuilding almost as long as I can remember. My old buddy Sammy got me started lifting weights back in high school. I remember him telling me that if I lifted some weights I would see good results. Of course a young guy wants to look good. So we trained hard, and also partied hard. Fortunately we had youth on our side, and we managed to make progress.
Now, in the forth decade of my life, I am still as enthusiastic about my workouts as I was in high school. There have been countless workouts, performed in many different locations, and under the varying circumstances of life. But I prevailed and slowly got stronger. I became a successful personal trainer and I also experienced NPC bodybuilding competition.
Why have I continued to body build when so many abandon this time consuming endeavor? My answer is simply that – i Love BODYBUILDING.
