Hopefully my legs still work when I’m done.

So I haven’t missed the gym yet. Goal 4, Ignore the fact that tomorrow is Friday and still go to the gym on the way home. That should be easy. I think I’m going to attempt the Body For Life Challenge. Gotta start by 9/3. Thanks for the support. Hasta.

but I did put a hurt on my legs. Did more reps than weight. First leg workout in a while so I wanted to make sure I can use them again on Friday. I was stumbling around the gym as if it were a small boat though. I love that. I’m pretty sure I looked drunk with my legs unable to hold me up. So far so good. Goal 3, repeat yesterday’s workout tomorrow. See you at the gym.

Well I’ve got about 20 min before I can leave the office and head to the gym. It’ll be my first leg workout in a long time. Been chuggin water all day so I hopefully don’t kick my wife because of a cramp tonight. Headed to the store after the gym. Gotta up the veggies. I’ve quit the smoking and cut out alcohol, soda, and juice. Thanks for the support everybody.

Well I didn’t punk out and drive past the gym on my way home from the office. I gave my upper body a pretty good beating. Goal 2, Go again tomorrow and do legs and stomach. I don’t know where my motivation went over the last year, but I’m hoping these posts will keep me motivated and honest. This is day 3 without a cig and I really wanted one after the gym but that has passed. Enjoying some steak and rice for dinner. Yes it’s white rice, but it’s leftover from the wedding. Small portion too. Keep up the hard work everybody.

I have to forget everything I have done (or lately, not done) up to this point. It’s time to start setting some goals. Goal 1, Do not drive past the gym on the way home. I figure I’ll start small. Probably better to have daily goals anyways. A daily goal is always within reach. There shouldn’t be enough time to talk myself out of it. I made a bet with a buddy and gave him nearly a nine month head start. I have approx. 100 days to prove I can outdo him. On top of that, I got married on 8/16, so I now have to consider somebody else when I think about my health. Any support from my fellow BodySpacers would be much appreciated. Bring on the hurt.
