Do you ever have days where you are just so exhausted, tired, and drained? Me too. Went to do legs today, and I LOVE doing legs but today my heart just wasn’t in it… The only thing I could think of is that it’s because I am so exhausted and tired from work. Hopefully next week will be better. I got in a good workout but to be honest, it could have been better. Have a great weekend!

Worked the shoulders with dumbbell press, front and side lateral raises, shrugs, and upright row. No cardio today. Trying to add some muscle. I am planning on adding more cardio the end of April to lean out before my 1 year progression pics. Still taking SP and SO and occassionally Cytolean. FYI: I am not planning on posting new pics. until the end of May so stay tuned.

No time for slacking off… Since I didn’t workout yesterday due to the holiday weekend, I did all upper body this morning. I did back (wide grip pull down, seated pulley row, and ext.) Tris (bench dips, & ext.) Bis (hammer curl, and barbell curl) and chest (dumbbell flyes). It was a full hour of all upper body sip’n on my SO and pumped on SP! Yeah baby! Tomorrow is going to be abs and stepmill. Haven’t done stepmill forever so wish me luck on that… But like I said summer is coming so need to kick it up…

Last week on leg day I hit it really hard and was down for 3-4 days. I mean really down, like walking like an 80 year old woman, and hurt to pee kinda pain… so this week, I had a new stategy to compromise. I love leg day and also love to work them hard but being how it is Easter weekend and I have plans and want to be mobile I only hit the leg press hard, I did a drop set on leg ext. but not to heavy… I skipped working out the hammies as much as last week. I did walking lunges w/no weights, I did light barbell squats, seated calf raises, and did some extra plie squats. I should be okay w/this and not a lot of pain but then again tomorrow will tell…

Well today is going to be ab day at home. I have too much to do so while I’m doing laundry, I’ll be doing ab supersets at home. I will do some stretches for my back. I have found that after a hiatus, hitting it hard in the gym.. hurts I’m going to take this week a little easier on myself, especially since my legs are still getting back to normal. There were times yesterday that I felt like my legs may fall out from under me. I really did a number on myself. I think it may have been the new “sumo deadlifts” I tried from the May issue of Oxygen. It was great and obviously worked!!!

Today was: Biceps: hammer curl, concentrated curl, and barbel curl… Triceps: Kick backs, bench dips, and rope ext. and Chest: flyes and dumbbell press! All in all not bad. There was a woman in there working out and I couldn’t figure out what she was doing? First she was using really light weights, k maybe toning? Then she would pull her shirt up and look at her abs while doing her workout? I found it strange behavior but who am I to judge… More power to her! We all have our vises. I like to look at my arms to see my vascularity but I’m just one of those people that like veins? Who knows really! My legs are still sore but so much better. I think I am walking normal today. Yesterday it hurt to stand, sit, walk… I feel a lot better. Thank you Glutamine!!!

Do as I say, not as I do… so yeah over-trained and feeling it. Okay so I took a few weeks off and thought I could make it up in a couple days. I usually work my legs pretty good EVERY workout but yikes… it hurts to pee… Anyway, needless to say I didn’t workout today. I wanted am extra recovery day. I’m going to sip some extra glutamine and hopefully be feeling a lot less sore tomorrow… Seriously though, even though I’m in pain, I like it!

I’m hurting not to bad in the legs yet but feeling my shoulder workout from Friday. Two days after is usually when the pain kicks in. Tomorrow I’m sure I will feel like I got hit by a MAC truck but you have to admit, it feels good to feel the pain. It means you are targeting the muscles you wanted and they are responding. I’m still taking my SP and my SO. I have kinda put my Cytolean on the shelf for now. I want to see if I can add some muscle. I lean out pretty fast and quick so not too worried about cutting. Not really doing a lot of cardio right now either. In a couple weeks I will begin taking the Cytolean again and do more cardio.

I am one of the few that LOVE leg day. It was an hour of sweat and my obsessive complusive desire (not disorder) to do more. I started with lying leg curls up to 80 lbs, then it was leg press time at 270 lbs, over to sumo deadlifts up to 60 lbs and romainian deadlift same weight, after that it was walking lunges with 10 lbs in each hand (I go up to 25 sometimes) then side lunges, seated calves raises at 90 lbs., and finished with leg extensions went up to 95 lb for today. All in all I would have to say a great workout w/jello legs at the end. Gotta love it. I’ll be hurting tomorrow.
