Wanted: A challenge
Monday, May 19th, 2008I was able to make it to the gym early Saturday morning for the first time in 2 weeks, but my workouts have been very inconsistent, at least in the number of days I am able to make it to the gym. Mostly because I work 2 jobs at the moment. So I’ve decided to really challenge myself, by registering for a 5K race that takes place in 4 weeks. So that means I will have to step up the cardio to better my endurance and as well increase my focus and inteisty on the weightlifting side. It will be my 2nd race ever and my first 5K in 3 years, but right now I feel like I have a target to shoot for in my overall training. Gotta crawl before you can walk. Any suggestions that you guys have on consistency, how to maintain it, etc would be greatly appreciated.
