Everything is easier when you envision your goal

The last two weeks have been incredible, I have been training hard and eating clean. My body is responding well, I have a lot of energy and no cravings  - I eat moderately but well. I have redefined my goals and I find that I am more focused…

What I ate today

  1. 1 cup warm water with lemon juice and herbalife thermo
    ½ cup cooked oatmeal, 3 hard-boiled egg whites and 1 yolk, green tea
  2. MRP
  3. ½ small sweet potato, 4 oz grilled chicken breast AND 10 slices cucumber
  4. 3 oz Tuna and asparagus spears
  5. 4 oz chicken, ½ cup brown rice, Asparagus, Green beans
  6. Whey protein, glutamine, calcium

Rest day…FANTASTIC

Today was my rest day though I itched to go to the gym, I had to exercise discipline not to go, it was very difficult because I really wanted to. I have been working extremely hard the past two weeks, eating clean, no cheats and I don’t even have any cravings and I am much stronger, more energetic. Nonetheless, I feel FANTASTIC that I decided to let my body relax and recover today, and I feel good for honouring it :)

I started reading Fantastic - it is about the life of Arnold Schwarzenegger by Laurence Leamer, great read and I am half way through, can’t put it down - He is a great master of mind power and is proof that we can DO and BE anything we want

My legs are jelly after this morning workout, I was challenged to the max…Affirmation: I am more than I appear to be, all the world’s strength and Power rests inside me…Life is beautiful

 Treadmill powerhike @ 5% x 5min Squat jumps x 20 reps with 5kg DB 

Treadmill powerhike @ 10% x 5min Alternating jump lunges x 20 reps with 5kg DB 

Treadmill powerhike @ 15% x 5min Jumping jack squats x 20 reps 

Hill runs on treadmill @ 8% x 5 min Run on treadmill @ no incline x 10 min 

Stepmill x 15 min

my 3km run in 20 minutes

I have been training with the new trainer for two weeks now, focussing purely on cardio and I have had the most amazing and exciting experience.

I actually underestimated my endurance and have been pretty much suprised, and she is very impressed. My goal is to do 5km in 20 minutes - just because I know I CAN

new personal trainer…cardio specific

I hired a new personal trainer to focus on my cardio, to help me shed weight. I am really looking forward to working out with her. I am quite fit, great at interval training but need to work on my endurance…Will keep you posted
