People will always talk, no matter what their gender is…don’t pay attention, they are mostly envious/jealous or whatever negative emotions they harbour… they themselves have little sense of personal value or self worth apart from the opinions of others…the most important thing is to RISE above the Opinions of Others, because it really doesn’t matter at the end of the day. For some people, their entire self image is determined by the way other people speak to them or about them or even look at them…and this is so SAD and we are responsible for the way we feel…

Something to think about… Always remember, you are the master of your fate and the captain of your soul…
If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you don’t.
If you like to win, but you think you can’t,
It is almost certain you won’t
If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost.
For out in the world we find,
Success begins with a person’s will-
It is all in the state of mind
If you think you are outclassed, you are
You’ve got to think high to rise
You’ve got to be sure of yourself,
Before you can ever win the prize
Life’s battles don’t always go to the stronger woman or man,
but sooner or later the one who wins is the one who think, “I CAN”

- bunch flat-leaf parsley
- bunch mint
- 50ml olive oil
- 100g pitted black olives

Halve the red onion, cut into very fine slices and place in a bowl. Add the lemon/lime juice and set aside for 15 minutes. Remove the rind and pips from the watermelon and cut into chunks. Cut the feta into similar sized pieces and put them into a large bowl. Roughly tear the herbs and add the onions along with their pink juices. Add the oil and olives, and toss the salad gently. I attaracted a training partner, and we started training together on Monday and she is awesome. She is driven and motivates me to be more and do better. We have similar goals which makes it easier for both of us.
I have been approached by people who want to train with me (and I have trained with some, including my best girlfriend), although I love helping others: I find that most lack the commitment, not disciplined to arrive on time and they simply don’t have strong enough reasons to train
I am so grateful for my partner…because I have had personal trainers for the past two years until about 4 months ago, when I decided I would train on my own…I wanted more and I was just not getting what I expected or wanted. And I have made better gains on my own…I find my inspiration from this site, from reading the transformation stories, blogs and main articles on BB.com, I am at a totally different level then when I started…Thank you for being part of my fitness journey and for the invaluable information and support…

I receive compliments almost daily at the gym, particularly from people who saw me when I started training two years ago, and everyone wants to know what my secret is because they too have been training, some longer than I have…
As I was training this morning, a young woman approached me, she asked if I was an athlete because she has been observing me, she has seen me train, the way I run etc and she thought I was a PRO. Me? An athlete? I told her my story and she couldn’t believe it.
She certainly made my day…from coach potato to been considered an athlete, all in two years? I have done well and I am grateful to all that have supported me
