There are so many forces and so called "friends" trying to derail us from our goals. It is just so easy to justify little cheats here and there. That’s how it starts. A little cheat here, that little cheat makes it easier to do it again and again and before you know it, you’ve gained 5 pounds.
Today is the Friday before Labor Day weekend. Yea, time off from work, but that also means parties, coctails, fattening yet of so convient appetizers etc…. I’m trying very hard to be mindful of my goals and stay the course this weekend.
That is one thing that I love about BodyBuilding.com. It is a support group of like minded individuals who are there to support you all the way. Each day is a new day. Every day needs different amounts of support and motivation to stay the course. There is always someone who you are trying harder than and someone is trying harder than you.
Have a great Labor Day Weekend!

Oh my, 2 times a day of cardio has began starting today! OMG. 40 mins of cardio twice a day. Seriously. I’m not craving a glass of red wine at night when I’m sweating on the treadmill though. Life works in mysterious ways.

Oh, yeah, the pounds are dropping. I’m keepin’ it up. Hard core. Cardio still high and diet still strict.
I do miss my glass of red vino at night though. Sometimes it calls my name. Any tips for this craving? I’m using the visualization of me on stage in my suit and the feeling that I’m doing my absolute best. I don’t want to stand next to those other girls and feel like I didn’t do all that was recommended to me by my nutritionist. There is always someone who tries harder and someone who tries less than you on stage guaranteed.
Working out with my son this weekend was nice. Water aerobics and the jogging stroller. Check out pics on my blog at www.Michellecagle.com.

30 days out from the Olympia, time to up the intensity.
I woke up early as I always do and got a great work out in. Weights - shoulders, rear delts, abs - followed by 42 mins of cardio.
Being the good mother that I am, came home to take my son to a Gymboree play class for some quality time with him. He was lovin’ it.
Next up, I met with my nutritionist to tweak my goals for the Flex Bikini search. My 1 year old son was throwing protein bars everywhere. LOL
We did check body fat and reassess. More cardio, less meals, lesser weights, higher reps, fat burner supplement changes. 14% body fat is the goal.
Son went down for a nap and then off to my real job.
