20 yr reunion this Saturday!

I just found out Friday that my class is having a 20 yr. reunion this Saturday night.  I’ve never attended one of these things, but I’m thinking that I’ll go to this one…

I’m 3 weeks from the end of my Body for Life Challenge. Does anyone have advice for how I can look my best in my "after" pictures?  I know I need to be tan and have read that I should dehydrate myself to look my leanest. Are there any other strategies that can help me to look leaner and to help my muscles to look as defined as possible?

Loosing weight too fast

Is it normal to not loose any weight for 3 weeks, then drop 3 pounds in 1 week?  That’s not typical for me, and 3 lbs in a week seems a little fast.

I’m leaving on an unexpected trip (funeral) in a couple of hours and won’t be back until Saturday, so this is a chance for me to see how well I can do when I’m not in my regular routine with access to my home gym!  Cardio won’t be a problem, because I can walk and run anywhere. I’m going to use my bodyweight for resistance training and anything else I can find! I’ve packed my supplements and my own food to keep from eating out as much as possible, so I think I’m going to be fine.  I hate that I won’t be able to log into bb.com while I’m gone (no laptop), but I’m taking my new Oxygen and Muscle and Fitness Hers magazines for inspiration and to keep me focused!

On August 15, I wrote a post a little discouraged at my lack of measurable progress that week. I was at 123 lbs. I’ve struggled since then, cutting calories, increasing cardio, etc. The Body for Life plan calls for a free day, but I cut it down to a free meal, then took away that altogether the past 2 weeks because of no progress.  Yesterday, I mentally needed to take a free day, but I ate healthy foods with the exception of 2 pancakes, 1 donut (Yes, Krispy Kreme, and YES it was GOOD), and 5 french fries.  I really expected my weight to be up this morning, but it was 122. Can you believe that? I know that it’s because of all the work I’ve done the last 3 weeks, but it feels like being rewarded for bad behavior!
