On August 15, I wrote a post a little discouraged at my lack of measurable progress that week. I was at 123 lbs. I’ve struggled since then, cutting calories, increasing cardio, etc. The Body for Life plan calls for a free day, but I cut it down to a free meal, then took away that altogether the past 2 weeks because of no progress. Yesterday, I mentally needed to take a free day, but I ate healthy foods with the exception of 2 pancakes, 1 donut (Yes, Krispy Kreme, and YES it was GOOD), and 5 french fries. I really expected my weight to be up this morning, but it was 122. Can you believe that? I know that it’s because of all the work I’ve done the last 3 weeks, but it feels like being rewarded for bad behavior!
