Sugar

How much sugar a day is reasonable? I’ve been eating what I consider to be a low amount, under 5 grams per meal unless I’m having an apple or something, but I may not have a good idea of what is low.  Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I became concerned a couple of weeks ago that my calorie intake was too low to support muscle growth. I was loosing weight, but not getting stronger.  I boosted calories by about 200 per day, (from @1550 to @1750) and felt better physically, and have had a noticable increase in my workout intensity and ability, but no weight loss. In fact, not only did I NOT loose a pound last week, I’ve gained one this week.  My measurements have gone down a teeny tiny bit, and I feel like I’m a little firmer, but I only have 6 1/2 weeks before my Body for Life "after" pictures, and would like to speed things up a little.  I’m thinking I may need to drop the calories back down. Any suggestions?

Well, it’s one of those weeks where I haven’t seen any measurable progress yet, but I’m hopeful that will change by Saturday morning.  Since I had completed 4 weeks using the same exercises, I changed everything around this week, and am sore in all the right places, so I don’t feel like a slacker!

I need help from the ladies!

This post is regarding breast health. I’ve found that since I’ve been loosing fat, I’m also loosing a lot of the fullness in my bustline. Are there non-surgical options that can help with this problem? I’m not ready for augmentation, yet, but it looks like it may take that to get back to my natural size. I would appreciate any suggestions?

Yesterday was my 3rd free day of my challenge, but this time, I did my homework first. No eating out! Instead I bought low cal, low fat, low sugar versions of my favorite food ingredients, and cooked at home.  I didn’t watch my gi index so closely, so the fat free potato chips and (white pasta) salad were a treat.
