It’s Been Awhile
I’m back! Some of my bodyspace friends may have noticed that I haven’t been posting or replying to comments lately. So this blog is to let all of you know that no, I haven’t fallen of the face of the earth, I have just been a little distracted. I think we all can relate to a time when we really need to focus on getting our life in order, which is exactly what I’ve been up to. But the good news is, I have missed this place! I am sorry to everyone who I haven’t responded to, please know that it’s not that I don’t care! I really do!
A lot of you have asked how training is going, and I can honestly say that it is not going as well as I would like it to. We all seem to suffer from a lack of motivation every once in awhile, and how work and responsibilties can distract from our best intentions in the gym. I have definately been training, but it hasn’t been on the same level that I am used to. So if anyone has any advice for me, I would love to hear it!

Everyone gets distracted and its always hard trying to juggle everything with everyone. Work marriage kids basic day to day things. Then there’s always those curve balls life throws at you from no where, that make you feel like why me. Sometimes you just have to sit back take in a deep breath then adapt and overcome the best you can. If you fall down you must get back face into the wind and accomplish the goals you have set for yourself. Good luck and work hard.

Been there, done that. Distractions come and go- its part of life. I think our bodies crave the distractions becuase it gets to rest and recouperate a little. the best i can tell you is take care of the stuff in your life first. i say this becuase unless you take care of it, or at least get it to a place where you are comfortable, you will remain distracted. and once the distraction is gone, you will hit the gym even harder than before- mostly becuase, like the rest of us crazy people on this site, we usually try to play catch up. You will be back to where you want to be in no time. but at least take care of you first- this should always come before the gym. Trust me- it took quite a few years to realize that the gym was not first priority in my life and i wasted a lot of years becuase of it. take care- hope to see you with some incredible progress pictures in the near future.
