Setback

Saturday, January 19th, 2008

Well … I have a minor setback!  I started playing ball again in order to get my cardio up (I hate running treadmills indoors).  Everything was going well.  My legs were feeling great.  I was able to run and push it!  Unfortunately, I trashed my ankle in the last pickup game.  My legs were cut out of underneath me as I drove to the basket and all of my weight was compounded onto my heal!  Luckily nothing was broke.  I have been on crutches for the last 2 days, since I cannot put ANY weight on my foot!  So this is definitely putting a damper on my workout routines.  I am still hitting my crunches everyday and eating right.  Hopefully my ankle will be a quick heal and I will be back full force by the end of the week!

It’s about time I start this thing.  I missed the opportunity to do our company (Bodybuilding.com) transformation challenge but I don’t want to be left behind.  Even though I might not be able to go head to head with Knock Out Noel or Meathead Mike (It would be good to woop up on em) I’m still going to do my own transformation challenge!  I took my before picture last Friday!  The picture will be up shortly!  I’m going to stay motivated to finish this out.  How can you not be motivated day in and day out when you are involved with Bodyspace!!  I’m looking to put on some lean weight as I cut down my body fat!  Wakeboarding season is right around the corner!  Stay tuned ….
