Setback
Well … I have a minor setback! I started playing ball again in order to get my cardio up (I hate running treadmills indoors). Everything was going well. My legs were feeling great. I was able to run and push it! Unfortunately, I trashed my ankle in the last pickup game. My legs were cut out of underneath me as I drove to the basket and all of my weight was compounded onto my heal! Luckily nothing was broke. I have been on crutches for the last 2 days, since I cannot put ANY weight on my foot! So this is definitely putting a damper on my workout routines. I am still hitting my crunches everyday and eating right. Hopefully my ankle will be a quick heal and I will be back full force by the end of the week!

I’d rather play than run, and 7 years ago, when I was training for my first marathon, about 10 weeks out from the marathon, I went up for a rebound, and landed on someone else foot. I severely sprained my ankle, as was out of commission for 8 weeks. I ran, but did not finish that marathon. Hope your recovery is quicker. Good luck getting back on both feet.
