Great Leg Workout Today
Well my 7th week is coming to an end... although I will still go in for cardio tomorrow morning. Today was a great leg workout. I'm lifting heavier and getting stronger. I can feel my ass and legs lifting, building, and strengthening. This morning I did squats, lunges, hack-squats, leg curls, leg extensions, deadlifts, and sitting and standing calf raises. Whew! My ass and legs are going to be sore the next couple of days that's for sure. It really feels good to have come this far... and still be going strong. In years past whenever bad workout days creeeped up on me, I've allowed it to interfere with my workouts. But I'm proud to say that since I've started back to the gym, whenever I have felt those days creeping up, I've pushed myself even harder and made sure to turn the negatives into positives. Like today for example... I was tired and didn't want to get out of bed. I was even contemplating staying home. But I quickly got that thinking out of my head. I dragged myself out of bed and told myself to keep moving forward. And when I hit the gym, I made sure to make each set and rep count. And after... I felt so much better and was glad I made myself stick to my schedule. I knew that if I didn't go... I would be regretting it later. But even if things didn't go the way it did... moving forward is the key to accomplishing our goals. No matter how many times we fall... we must get back up and keep moving forward. Everybody stay strong!
Nice to see you push thru and not let your mind drag you down! Arent some of the best workouts on days like this? You come out of training feeling like a million bucks! They say it takes 21 days to start a habit and I bet it would be safe to say that you are making exercising a life long habit!! Keep on pushing you are doing amazing work! :)
