8 Week cutting phase (Round 2)

I have decided to continue the cutting phase. The first 8 weeks I lost 19 pounds, 3 inches on my waistline and dropped a pant size. I went from 273 to 254 pounds. I want to see my abs and see more definition. I will allow myself one cheat meal a week. I am starting out with 12 calories per pound of bodyweight and will alternate days of protein-carbs-fat between 50-40-10 and 50-20-30 %.

Feels good to see a plan through to the end. Had a few cheat days and a rough spot towards the end where I wondered if I would finish but I did! I am 254 Lbs. S have not been this weight in a very long time and the last time I did I did not have this much muscle. I have dropped several belts holes and went to a size smaller on my pants. Most importantly I feel so much better health wise. I think I am going to cruz this week, re-evaluate what I want and set some new short term goals.

Well bummer! I was 800 calories short, 100g protein short and 10g over on fat. I ate good food all day but I skipped dinner due to poor planing (ran out of time) and no appetite. Tomorrow is the final day in this phase

Total: 3187.5 calories

Protein: 407.5g @ 51%

Carbs:  157g @ 20%

Fat:  88.5g @ 25%

Training: Lats, Traps, Abs

Went 7g over on carbs but since calories were a little higher as well I stayed on target at 20%. Very tired and unmotivated today. Fortunately I did not feel like eating either so diet was on target for another sucessful day.

Day 53 …..gettin’ close

Training: 45 min HIIT Cardio (500 cals burned)

Felt horrible last night from Sushi I think. A little better today but still felt like I had bad fuel. Struggled thru cardio but got it done. So far I have been on target for the last 6 days. Just a couple more and that will end the 8 week cycle. I will continue to eat the way I am however. Will definitely throw in one cheat meal a weak though :)

Second day of being back on track. Working tomorrow so should be easy. I missed a meal today due to busy work so I substituted a meal replacement bar and looks like I did ok on percentages. Had a fun arm day today. I will weigh in tomorrow, but I do not think I have lost anything this week since I was off so much and so often :/
