did my chest yesterday, tried drop setting and lets just say that aint no easy feat, was totally exhausted and really feel it today, did my legs today and had a great workout, started with a run at 5am and trained again at 9am. Going on holiday for 10 days, hate to miss my training but I think I should also give my body a break, its so hard to do that when you have to get your daily fix…………maybe I’ll go for a few runs……

back day

Monday, November 26th, 2007

I trained my back this morning, started with a 30 minute run at 5am and did my back at around 9am, back exhausts me, started with 2 sets of 4 chin ups, deadlifts 50 kgs(10reps) and two more sets of 55kgs (10 reps), pretty good for a 47kg lady! Did 3 sets of latpulldowns, 30, 35,35kgs for 10 reps each, cable rows, 35,35,40kgs, 10 reps each, barbell rows, 20, 25,25kgs, 10 reps each, dumbell rows, 17,18,18kgs 10 reps each and then back extensions,20,12, 10 reps, 3 sets with a 10kg plate. That my friends was the end of back day for me.

So its Saturday and I dont weight train generally on a weekend, I did 45 mins run/walk on my treadmill this morning, I didnt do much cardio this week, I’m still not sure how much is too much or too little. My main priority is not to lose my muscle, however little I possess. My 5 year old son had his first karate grading this morning and got 2 black stripes, so proud! My daughter has her grading this afternoon, she’s a star too!

Superpump 250

I tried superpump by gaspari about 2 months ago and felt really awful, just too jittery and shaky and unable to lift so I stopped using it and tried Xplode whcih seemed a little better. After some thought I tried half a dose yesterday and then half today before my workout, have to tell ya, that it was awesome, I really enjoy gaspari’s sizeone and now can finally start seeing more of a difference with superpump. Did shoulders today, damn lateral raises!!!!Real killer!

So I realise that I havent warmed to this blogging thing as yet, but basically I work out Monday to Friday, back, chest, legs, bi’s & tri’s, shoulders, I am trying to incorporate a little more cardio into the equation. My objective is to build muscle but also to lean out more. I am extremely disciplined and never miss my workouts, I also eat clean with the occasional treat along the way. I am contemplating posting some photos but am generally a bit shy, so I’ll have to work on that one!!!

Trained Chest today

So I trained my chest today, working out with my husband is wonderful and motivating, the more weight he pushes, the more I feel that I can do the same!I am getting stronger with each workout. I feel that the Gaspari Size On has really made a difference, I wish I could say the same about the Superpump. My husband wont do a workout without it, its helped him to real make some good gains but it makes me feel too jittery and shaky. I take a product by Muscle Science called Xplode (Nitric Oxide) and I think its a very mild version in comparison to superpump but it works for me so far. Will keep you posted.
