5 weeks to go!

5 weeks to go this Sunday!! It is getting very challenging, 90% of the challenge is the mental side to it all. I have cut a lot of carbs to try and get my remainding body fat off, I am fairly carb sensitive so hopefully this does the job but it is taxing on the energy levels. I took some more progress shots and really not happy with the aount of fat I am holding around the stomach as much as I am told it is the last place to come off I still don’t feel comfortable about the weight there.

Anyway still going so 5 weeks is nothing compared to the many weeks so far I have done to prepare.

Can’t wait to post my pics of the comp up :)

Just wanted to say Thanks to everyone who has posted their great commentsI try to! I hope i replied to them all but if I didn’t thanks heaps!

All going well, just a bit tired, bit moody but I know it will be worth it. I am getting a bit scared about getting up on stage but life is boring staying in your comfort zone:)

Rambling Blog

Just a quick entry :) I guess my diet is making me moody plus I have a small cold which is making mer feel run down a bit. But I am starting to get really irritated by people who feel the need to try and tempt me to eat stuff or just give me a bit of flak about how boring I am because I can’t go out and drink and party etc. It never really bothered me to much before but it is extremely irritating now. Even some of my family like to talk about stuff I can’t have and find it funny. Anyway it isn’t going to affect me in the way that i am tempted to have something I shouldn’t,  I just think geez where is the support! I guess they don’t realise how hard it is and the commitment it takes. Anyway I am just having a rough day and needed a whinge!

On the other hand I have had a spray tan and it looks great. I am leaning up well. It is nice to start seeing muscles popping out and cuts coming through in all the different muscles. I still need to work on my biceps, not much seperation there but hopefully losing more body fat will help them come through more as well.

I have one of my good friends weddings on the weekend, it seems weird to taske my meals along and although I am dissapointed I can’t fully get into the day with all the eating and drinking my motivation for the comp is so high that it will be worth it.

 Enough rambling.

Progress - 8 weeks till my comp

8 weeks till my comp and my trainer thinks I am going really well with my progress :) About another 6 kilo to go, hard to tell, I have stopped weighing myself as I am not really losing weight but am losing the body fat it is very visible, especially when I look at my progress pics (which i will post when I have all of them up right up to my comp ones) just have some fat around the abs now and underneath the bum but I know that is always the last place to lose it.

Just focusing on getting my cuts now, I need to get some more definition in my biceps, delts and triceps are great but can’t see the seperation in my bicep so lots of concentration curls. I have also started practicing my posing a lot so that should help to.

Diet is still going well, increased my protein, and dropped some more carbs, and cut out alot of sodium, I will drop the sodium levels again in another 4 weeks.

Will enter another blog in a couple of weeks :)

Well I have started my cutting phase and so far so good, been at it for about w week and half now so not to hard yet. Here is a look at my eating plan:

Meal 1. 

1/2 cup oats (raw weight)

5 egg whites

1 tbs flax oil

 

Meal 2. 

90g tuna

Small bed of spinach and capsicum

Vinegar for dressing

 

Meal 3. 

120g (raw weight) chicken

½ cup cooked rice

½ cup of broccoli or beans

 

Meal 4. 

90g Chicken (raw weight)

6 asparagus spears

90g sweet potato (raw weight)

 

Meal 5. 

Low carb protein shake

1 cup raw beans

 

Meal 6. 

150g (raw weight) white flesh fish.

1 cup broccoli

 

 

Meal 7.

6 egg whites

 

Meal 8 (optional)

Protein Shake

I have the optional shake depending on what training day I am on. I have upped the cardio to 5 x 30min sessions a week and I do weights 4 times a week. I haven’t made the cardio to intense at this point but will gradullay up that as well depending on how much body fat I have to drop.

Anyway I have started taking progress shots so when I have a few shots together over the next 6 weeks or so I will start posting them up.
