Started my new split yesterday. Always wanted to try it, never had the lack of time to do so. Hit my posterior side. One warmup set followed by three main sets.

Deadlifts

Standing Military Press

Lying Leg Curls

Shrugs

Reverse Flyes-> Rear Shoulder Raises

Tricep Pressdowns

My traps are killing me. I strained my neck slightly on the left side this time. What’s with my neck this year? Plus my left ankle is killing me from all this walking around…the pavement really is a killer. I’m sore all over my posterior side today…feels great. Going to add my barbell rows next week to this. The point of this workout is to keep everything simple, and hit the whole backside.

I hate working my bis. I hate curls…something about the pulling motion. However, I tried Larry Scott’s EZ Curl method- the one where your pinky is higher than your thumb. It’s a little awkward but it works great….puts the belly of the bicep in the perfect position, and working bis were never this great! What a pump! Curling was always a little awkward for me…and granted my bis are a little weak, doing it this way was awesome. Looking forward to next time.

Looking to pick  the calories back up, now that the business is picking up more. So busy, just trying to keep the protein up, and keep good shape. 5′8 170lbs…looking to get back up to 190lbs- a quality 190.

Back is thick- needs width. Gonna start deadlifting again when ankles feel better.

Chest needs more size. When I pick up the calories, they’ll pack it on. Love the inclines.

Delts and Biceps need most attention. I hate curls….

Triceps and forearms are looking good. Even at the lighter weight, the tris are holding great size.

Quads/Hams/Calves are on standby as I let my ankles and knees recover. Can’t wait to get in the squatrack again…..looking to get back into the 400’s.
