YOGA

I’ve read that yoga can be very good for you.  I’m trying to loose bodyfat, while increasing strength and endurance.  I have an opportunity to take yoga three days a week and was hoping to get additional oppinions on this.  Any input?

PRE-WORKOUT

I was thinking apples, bannanas would be a good natural carb for my pre-workout.  I’m trying to loose weight and really need to watch my carbs (blood sugar reasons).  I want to try something because I’m loosing weight but decreasing my endurance.  Any suggestions???

I had read that I should consume 1g of protein per lb of body weight.  Now that I’ve done more research and looking into whey protein, I’m also reading that training athletes often consume 25 grams of whey protein per day. Bodybuilders who want serious gains (and are burning serious calories), generally consume 150 grams per day. — So here’s the million dollar question; should i consume only 25g per day or should I work towards 75-100g per day?  My current weight is 178.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I was a gym rat years ago and after the gym closed, things haven’t been the same.  Long story short, I need to increase my streangth and endurance.  With that being said, it’s a safe assumption that I will also loose weight in the process.  Right now I feel I look like a pear.  I’ve lost some weight already because diabetes runs in the family and I am now on diabetic medication and am doing very well eliminating sugar from my diet. I was told I need protein with each meal.  Of all the knowledge on this website, I’m hoping you guys and gals can help me.  What is recommended??  I’ve also been doing a lot of cardio exercises because of a bad shoulder that I’m currently getting rehabilited and have little to no results, any suggestions? I’ve also started taking "Meltdown" and I think it has a huge part in my current weight loss.  I’ve lost the extra weight in my face and some in my chest.  Now it’s all in my stomach.  Any suggestions will be seriously considerded and appreiciated.  Thank you all for your time.
