So it was my birthday on the 21st of July. I was actually pretty good about eating and lifting. I didn’t really do anything to push me back at all. What did I do? Let’s see on Saturday we took the boat out and went tubing and BBQ, Sunday was spent eating Healthy foods of course.) No Really I ate pretty well all weekend. I really just hung out most of the day on Sunday then went to a place called John Elways and had a 22oz steak, boy o boy was that good! And on my Birthday I enjoyed the day by getting something done around my house and then going out with all my close friends towards the nights end. All and all what a great few days. As for working out I have been hitting it pretty hard the last couple of weeks so look for some new pictures just as soon as I get a chance to take some.

This week went pretty well considering everyone trying to pull you one way or another for the big weekend that came up so suddenly. My workouts have been going extremely well. However my nutrition is slaking so badly I cannot remember the last time I had good size meal. For some reason I am just not hungry, do I have energy for the workouts? Yes. But still none the less I get done with a huge leg day and I still can’t seem to put anything down, just not hungry. I have been forces myself to eat the food that I take in. and it’s not a fun experience let me tell you. Any time you think about blending your food to make it go down smoother and faster there’s something totally wrong with that picture. I’m not eating badly either good foods just like contest prep. Don’t want junk food, don’t want any food. What does that mean?
Any ways Fourth of July weekend was a lot of fun, now it’s time to try and get squared away again and fix this huge problem of mine. Let you know how it goes over the next few days to see if we can’t figure out this little problem. Later

Holly S… I cannot believe how sore my legs are! I know my entire body was going to be sore for the next few weeks but my legs Awesome! I woke up today and almost didn’t get out of bed, not because I couldn’t but because I was unable too. My leg workout the other day was something else. We definitely took it to the next level of training. I think now would be a good time to get going on supplements again. I have been taking a Glu/Con but I don’t think that’s going to cut it any more. You know though even though my workouts have been something fierce and not for the weak at heart, well to put it mildly we are training as if we are going to compete for a chance to play in the ranks of the Spartans. I have not felt this good in some time. It’s true what they say work hard and you won’t be able to walk. Slack off and you won’t be able to walk forty years now.

Last couple of days has been, well fantastic. I have been working a lot with some new projects I am working on lately but I have been so excited about getting to the gym that nothing can stand in my way. Monday I did chest and tri’s, this workout went better than I had even expected. The explosion I got from every lift was like nothing I have felt in such a long time. Every set brought with it a new feeling of growth. That’s right I felt like I was growing right there on the gym floor. After my workout I was so hungry I had to go straight home eat something. Ate pretty well enough protein to last until I get to the restaurant and order something with a little more protein.
Tuesday was just as good as Monday. We hit Back and Bi’s and let me tell you these two exercises are one of my favs. I hit these hard. Very hard until my back couldn’t take the pressure of the weight any longer. And my bi’s well they had it coming. Pumped so much blood into them they felt like they were going to explode! All and all I had a really good couple of days; Wednesday I took off, a little rest is always good for the body. Back in it today so gotta go and hit it even harder got legs. Let you know how it goes later tonight.

Last week was very exciting I started training with a new training partner who is one of the best partners I have had the luxury of training with personally. Just like me he has competed before and has done very well when he was on the circuit. A will try harder to get my thoughts down on the big screen for these week and weeks to come for now alls I can say is that last week was something else every part of my body feels like it is growing at a rate that I haven’t felt since my last show. Awesome I know! Anyways it should be fun to look back and see how well I have done now that I have all the elements in place once again. Look out competitors Matthew Boulter will not stop getting bigger and better! Count on a great show from me.
