Desperately Tired of Training in the Pussy Gym
I’m fed up with these people. I fail to understand why they don’t just throw me out and give me my money back. I workout the way i workout and that will never change. I feel so much anger toward almost all of the staff now….i know i’m giving them the death look. Especially those ones i think are doing the complaining. No matter what anyone thinks i train for and only me….i couldn’t give a rat’s ass if everyone in the gym is watching me or no one at all. I’m still gonna make noise when the frackin gym is completely empty, it’s what i do and love, I respect the equipment, have NEVER left a dumbbell out, and yet i get in ‘trouble’ for things like deadlifting without your shos on, which i NEED to do.
All this bull**** with the managment causes me extra stress whether i’ll admit it or not, and i’m tired as **** of it interfering with my working out. I’m pretty ****in convinced now that me getting injured is almost always a direct result of these people ****in with me while lifting. Last week it was the deadlifting without shoes thing….so i had to do 495 with shoes…i was pissed….after that and the pullups after that my lat felt a lil funny…..didn’t think anything of it, trained on. Now this week i get my flat shoes act all nice…even though i want to kill them all inside….and then i’m doing 495 and something SIGNIFICANTLY shifts in my shoulder and i couldn’t really do anything for back after that. Now sitting here writing this is seems to be popping its way back to where it wants to be, but i’ve never had such a strange injury so i don’t know how long it will take to get completely right….i hope not long at all, and of course i pray to Odin that nothing tore being that i have no insurance and such. Good news is i think i can still do chest tomorrow as i did some pushups to test it and no pain on those, then 2 days off…..hopefully it’ll be ok by monday or tuesday….but yea…i just want to be done with the ***GOT ASS MIZZOU REC CENTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh man that totally sucks. I hope your shoulder gets better. I can’t believe they give you that much trouble……….That has to be a stressful pain in the ass dealing with that crap.

deadlifting w no shoes on?…that sounds like a knee problem waiting to happen! don’t shoes give the knees cushion while lifting?…I think you need to take out some of that anger with a good cardio session!

armd….at 495 and above no shoes CAN support my feet….they crush and then you fall over backwards if the have any of that gel junk in them…and i’m always at or above 495 for my heavy sets….I got cardio tomorrow…already decided if i can’t train chest i’ll just do some extra cardio. I think i can though.
and my knee miraculously is getting better….it’s the IT band!!!! pretty sure….i been doing foam roller to hell on that and it’s ALOT better…and the pain is moving across my knee so i think it’s getting back to correct position.

you might try a pair of competition weighlifting shoes. They are designed so that you are slightly forward and hte heels wont crush. They are not a fashion statement however. Look a little like bowling shoes.

WTF?? Why would anybody should care wether u have ur shoes on??? Next time wear ur shoes and no pants, hahaha.

I agree! Arnold and the guys did it back in the day! By Odin’s beard, these gym’s these days are a bunch of social get to-gethers!

i don’t know that i can….just been looking at them. They seem to be quite expensive, not to mention hard to find. I’ve never bought shoes without trying them on and i don’t think any store in my vicinity would carry them.

oh i’d get thrown out for sure with no pants…rofl i’m surprised i’ve never gotten in trouble for my leg days shorts (VERY short) or my shirts that say things like "kick ass" on the back.
