a little motivational fiction?

So on wednesday morning last week my achilles tendon and i were almost at an impass. The pain was great….but i was not going to stop my cardio for anything short of death. So i pushed on……and this is part of what went on in my mind while we struggled through.

"HOW DARE YOU THINK ABOUT QUITING!!! Kyle does not quit you pansy. If there’s one thing you never do, it’s give up. So you suck it up and rock this cardio. You got that???" my alterego said.

"But it really hurts. It could be actually injured. What if it tears and then we can’t train at all?" the other side of me said in a now subdued voice.

"Ha. Remember who you are, wuss. You’re Kyle, you don’t get injured, you don’t fail. There is only ONE thing you do and that’s WIN!! Now if you don’t wanna win then sure, quit…..be a pansy ass and quit because of some pain. You know it’s not in you to do that though. You were born for something great, to rise above. Let nothing stand in your path to victory. Pain or otherwise. Now lets finish this." I responded.

Then the scenery changes. I"m no longer at the gym doing cardio. I can see in the dim light of dawn a hill moist with dew. And upon it knelt a man. As i look around i realize that something happened here. As i get closer i can see that the ground is littered with the signs of battle, and the dew is as much blood as anything. Two opposing armies had met in the night and now one man alone stood as the sole survivor. His back was to me as i slowly started up the hill toward him, carefully making my way through the countless bodies and bloodslicked ground. The killing had been brutal, there had been no mercy. All who stood against the man had been dispatched in an incredibly brutal fashion. Wounds gaped and blood flowed from the still dying bodies. The sheer violence of the scene is enough to make most people gag in horror and shut their eyes, but the man on the hill appears calm, collected, deep in thought and at peace with what he has just done. On one knee he stayed, i moved ever closer through the carnage in the early light. I could see him better now, his armor shrouded in blood, gleaming in the receding moonlight. At his feet lay a huge battle axe covered with the gore of many hundreds of kills. It was by no accident that he had survived. He is clearly a warrior that has no peer. I was very close now, within fifty feet at the most. I could see the rippling muscles of his arms, the only part of him not covered by armor. But he was massive, huge in every sense of the word. Not only did he have no equal in skill he clearly had no equal physically either. As i moved within the last 20 feet to him i saw him tense as he sensed my presence. I stopped, fearful of what would happen now. Then he rose, grasping his axe as he did so. Slowly he turned to me, and i saw….me. The warrior was me, I had killed all those men. That strength i hold within me. I looked into his cold blue eyes and saw what lay within myself, the power to do anything. To achieve whatever i desire…..and to succeed in all things i attempt and above all…..NEVER GIVE UP.

4076-650 (deficit) —-> 3426 cal needed  (including my mona vie i pretty much hit that, i just don’t usually know how much of it i drink).  So for the day i had a deficit of about 650 cals. I’ve just bumped this up starting this week from 500 in the previous weeks

DAMN….my achilles tendon is really bein a lil bish

Dunno what in the world is going on with it but it’s hurtin pretty bad. I can’t stop though so i’ll just push through it and take it easy on calves and see if that helps. I’ve been icing it on and off here. It was ok during legs except for hammies. The pad from the lying and seated leg curls kinda dug into it.

lookin lean though…..got ab lines and serratus. Plus lookin at veins in both legs spiderin about at the moment.

Progressions….Thoughts….Shreddin It Up

Been quite a while since i wrote one of these. Always seems like no one reads it anyway but i’ll bite and put down some of my thoughts for the week.

First of all as of yesterday i’m 14 weeks out from the comp. Diet is right on….about 2 pounds a week. Gained some water last week from supplements but i’m looking even leaner so i’m not too worried. Freaked out at first with the scale jump but i figured it out. I’m dogmatic about the diet so there’s no way it was off enough to make me gain two pounds of fat or anything. However i think i will go to a little more of a deficit this week. Perhaps 650-700 calories instead of 500. The thing is even with just the 500 deficit i’ve been losing the 2 pounds per week so i’m wondering if maybe i’m missing some calories burned somewhere. I figured i’m off by a bit because i am quite active even outside of the gym during the week. Walking to class as such. But for that math to work it’s got to be an extra 500 cals of activity doesn’t it? Also i’m burning a shit ton of calories in my lifting sessions….well except chest day for some reason. On the other days last week i burned up to 1500 cals a couple times. Great thing about this is that i don’t even really have to limit food that much. With the hour of cardio in the morning i’m still eating 3400 calories or so a day and cuttin up. I like this much better than not doing cardio or doing less and feeling like i’m starving.

Posing……..yea….as anyone can see from my pics i need to get on this as i’m pretty much suck at most poses. On a positive note though (always lookin for those) i learned how to do side tricep pretty damn good last week. Problem before was i didn’t really know how to grasp my hands and my buddy showed me the exact correct way. I think my biggest problems in this area are getting the legs flexed right and with back poses i think i have issues spreading it out. So something to work on. I gotta just get a plan together for that this week.

Ha related to the posing……MY BODYHAIR IS ****IN ANNOYING. It is very very very angering. Like i used veet on my chest and stuff prolly 3 weeks ago and now it’s as long as the hair on my back again!!!! It’s ridiculous, i just need laser hair removal. In the near future the capital will be there for that so that’s good. But in the meantime i really really really need to get my butt into the spa at the gym and ask about waxing. I’m not adversed to it at all but the idea of a strange retardedly hot girl that i’ve never met doing it makes me nervous. I’m very chicken shit about going and asking about it. So that also needs to get done this week for sures.

On tanning……wow the apartment complex i’m living in has quite the racket. They have "free" tanning right. But get this, it’s only open from like 8 to 4…..so pretty much anyone that’s gonna want to use it wont be there during that time and anyone that tans that is home during that time is rich enough that they’ll wanna go to a real salon anyway. So i gotta make a decision bout this because I really need to start tanning, the pool at school has been filled and i still have no base. Hell i got a sunburn sitting outside eating my lunch on wednesday.

Other thoughts……I’m gonna put my mona vie flyers up around school starting tomorrow and see how that works. Also have a couple people in minde to get literature to this week.  Hopefully i get two people this week to at least be interested and some responders to my flyers as well and get some peeps signed up. This week i’ve also got to turn in a couple applications for personal training. I"m not sure about working at the rec at all at the moment because i discovered yesterday that meg (the boss) charged me for a personal training book that i turned back in. Hopefully she’ll be rational and fix this, otherwise i’m probably about to make an enemy there unfortunately. There’s lots of other options around town i just have to go in and get apps for them. I’ve got to land something by the beginning of may here for sure. I also think that any position in a gym or even like gnc would give me a very very effective outlet for letting people know about mona vie.

anyway it’s nice and sunny outside so i’m debating going to clean broncobilly, she def. needs it………………..if you read this please comment on something :) :)
