Restarting

It’s kind of sad that events in life can make all your past efforts go to waste. 2-27-09 I was hit by a drunk driver that was traveling the wrong way on the highway. He hit me head on and sent me in a barricade. I had no breaks or wounds just muscle damage/spasms in my neck and back. I was unable to move for a few weeks and it took me a few months to get my full movement back. I lost most of my strength from the accident. I went to PT for two months three times a week and just got the clear to go back to the gym to continue building strength and to do cardio. Since the accident I’ve gain weight back. I’m currently 245lb. That is more then I was when I started here but is still less then what I was when I started going to the gym. All this is demotivating but I realize I need to restart over again but unable to lift as heavy as I did before. So now I have to do things slowly to build my strength and focus mostly on cardio. So wish me luck!
