Wow, my first bodyspace blog. Woo Hoo. First off, I’ll start by saying that I haven’t started my full exercise and diet routine yet. I just moved from Arizona, and have to catch up on some money before I can get the gym membership I want, and the right food/supplements I need.

Although it isn’t a beginner’s program I suppose, I am going to tackle Mike Mentzer’s HIT program. I’ve read SO many different opinions on workouts, and diets, and supplements, and ect. that I’m just going to devise my own workouts and diet. I’m going to go with Mike’s theory of heavy weights, with the highest intensity, for less reps and sets to stimulate muscle growth. If that works; good, if not; try something new.

I haven’t quite found the supplements I am going to take, but I plan on keeping them to a minimum. Nothing more then protein shakes, creatine drinks, and a NOS booster. As for vitamins, I’m getting a B Complex mix, C, E+ Selenium, D, A, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Fish Oil, L-Arginine, L-Glutamine, Saw Palmetto, and Manganese. I’ll most likely end up trying out one multivitamin such as ZMA or something, instead of taking 3 different pills when I can get them in one pill.

I’ll post my routine once I get it finalized, along with the progress. Wish me luck .
