P90X no more - Day 2
Day 2 without exercising. I did not exercise at all but I did over four hours of household work. That was my replacement workout for today.
I always kept an eye not to strain my throat and it all went well. I washed all my windows, vacuumed my car and got rid of some old clothes which I would not wear anymore. And still there is something else what can be done tomorrow. Good thing that I messed up everything in my four walls before I had the surgery! 
My wound is feeling better again than the day before. I almost feel as if I could workout again. Tomorrow morning I'm gonna see my ENT doctor again to let him check the wound and replace that strip with a new one. Hope he will be as content with the healing progress as yesterday. On Tuesday next week I will get rid of those stitches.
If everything goes that well in the next days, I think I could do just a little cardio workout, just on low or medium intensity and without straining my neck. Maybe I'll try that on Saturday in the evening. Even if the doctor told me not to do sports for a full week - I know, I am a little stubborn. Surely it would be wiser to rest the entire week but honestly, that's one of my bad sides...it's just the way I am. But I will think about it and only do it, if I really feel good.
Just as I stated on yesterday - eating less than normal is not easy. I feel not so ravenous as when I work out twice a day. But my body "tells me" that it still wants that +2200 calories. And when he says so, I give it to him.
Caloric intake for this day: 2530
A days of extra cal's won't kill ya Marion. It always amuses me to see so many extremely lean people on this site fret to no end over a day or a week of extra food intake. Don't get me wrong, I want to melt a little BF off my abs. But I also want to have life balance. It's a means to an end (better quality of life), not an end in itself. Go out for a nice walk & enjoy nature. Go see a movie, the museum, whatever. Enjoy the downtime......you'll be going full blast double barrels blasting next week anyway...........

You're definitely right. Under normal circumstances I wouldn't bother when I eat 3500 calories if I planned just 2500. But when I look back I just dropped below the 10% body fat percentage one week before. A goal that I worked so damn hard for every single day since December. Maybe that's why I fret about that little extra food.
...ok, but you're right. Even if I will get back over that 10% margin, I'm gonna drop below it again by no later than two weeks. Tomorrow I'm gonna take a stroll through the city and look for some new tops and shirts. All this training made me a little bigger in my upper body. ;)
