Consistency (or lack of it)

Lack of consistency is what is keeping me reaching my goals. I like to hit the gym and generally stay on a pretty good schedule. My problem is I change my routine, diet, goals, etc. too often that I do not meet them. One week I am doing FST-7, the next is HIT. Last week I wanted to lose weight, now it’s gain muscle. I need to pick a plan and stick to it to see results. This has been hinderance in me reaching my fitness goals. So, I am going to pick a routine and stick to it until it is done. I am going to stick to the basics and eat a healthy diet. I am not going to worry so much about counting my protein, carbs, fat, etc. I get too caught up in that for now. I am going to concentrate on eating healthy and eliminating junk foods. I am going to set short term goals that are attainable for me.

i believe at the start..when you have a lots of wheight to loose, and lots of muscle to add, doing a approximate diet, works..but some time after few monts of effort, you need to change for more serious diet, this is my case, maybe its yours to, for my satisfaction i need to loose more, for stay motivate to,at this step be more consistant its important…..

Reading this sounded like something I would write also. At least 4 times a year I used to switch back and forth from wanting to gain mass to wanting to lose body fat. This year I decided to do something different. I decided I want pride when I take off my shirt. So first I must lean down as much as possible. My current goal is to reduce my body fat to below 15% and I will reevaluate once I reach that goal.
