Consistency (or lack of it)
September 6, 2009Lack of consistency is what is keeping me reaching my goals. I like to hit the gym and generally stay on a pretty good schedule. My problem is I change my routine, diet, goals, etc. too often that I do not meet them. One week I am doing FST-7, the next is HIT. Last week I wanted to lose weight, now it’s gain muscle. I need to pick a plan and stick to it to see results. This has been hinderance in me reaching my fitness goals. So, I am going to pick a routine and stick to it until it is done. I am going to stick to the basics and eat a healthy diet. I am not going to worry so much about counting my protein, carbs, fat, etc. I get too caught up in that for now. I am going to concentrate on eating healthy and eliminating junk foods. I am going to set short term goals that are attainable for me.
