Wednesday, September 24th, 2008I see this guy workout at my gym about 2-3 times a week with a trainer. I am not being mean, but he is a rather large guy. He works his butt off, and the trainers and doing all the right things with him. But, I have to say, he hasn’t lost any weight in over a year! I was sitting there thinking today about how he gets up at 5am to get to the gym, to get tortured, but he has to be doing somethign wrong…and I would bet money it is DIET! I wish the trainers would take the time to ask him what he is eating or make him accountable. I would ask him, but I don’t want to offend anyone…but geez, I would love to see him get results.
He isn’t alone. I have this mental lecture with myself about once a month. I get up at 5am to go to the gym, then get back home by 7 so I can be up before the babies get up…and then I am running all day. Then at about 2:30pm each day…I want sweets, carbs…anything I get get my paws on. I am usually cracking a Red Bull open at this time. Sometimes I cave…… But I really have to stop and think about what I am doing. It totally defeats the purpose of getting up at the butt crack of dawn (when I am NOT a morning person) and then eat crap later in the day. I am having this lecture with myself right now. So…I am going to stick to my diet and let my hard work pay off…and show off.
So, off to eat my tuna. Yum, yum. The holiday’s are coming…it is better to be ahead of the game!
