Things are better…just had a bad day the other day, and everything hit at once.  I have a few wonderful FRIENDS here who brought me back to reality.  Yes, my dog will have surgery, but she will be ok.  Yes, my hubby will have back surgery, but it will "hopefully" make his back better…and at least I have a wonderful hubby.  I have soooo many blessings!

My workouts have been intense.  I have been busting my butt in the gym, and I am hoping it will all pay off.  I am just impatient….I am kinda like a 5 yr old…I want, I want, I want.

I have been eating clean for a couple weeks now, and I have never ate this clean in my LIFE!  Not that I ate horrible before, but I always grabbed something sweet at least once a day.  I ate mostly healthy stuff, but not like what I am not.  Would you believe I looked forward to tuna on a rice cake today?  Like all day…it was all I thought about.  LOL.  I have to laugh.  I never thought I had this in me before.  I always just said "I don’t have the will power to do that…"  Well, go figure.  Learn somethin’ new everyday!

I will take some new measurements this weekend and post them.  I am looking to lose some body fat and be a lean machine.

Train hard!

Where do I start?  This past week has had allot of ups and downs for me.  The UPS are….I am now training with Jphillips17, and I am very excited about that.  I have been eating totally CLEAN for the challenge, and have had consistent workouts.  One thing I need to change with the challenge is that I was going to do 4 days of HIIT, but Jason has me doing 3 days HIIT and 3 days cardio.  But, this is a good thing because I was only doing about 4 days cardio before.  So, I have MORE working out to do.  Which should mean more results!!!  As far as the DOWNS…well, my dog who hurt her foot this past weekend will be having surgery next week.  We first thought it was just a sprain, but she had to go back to the vet and she tore ligaments.  It is a pretty intense surgery (per the vet) and she will be in a cast up to 12 weeks!  Poor pup!  My 3 dogs are like my babies too…I love them dearly.

Then yesterday, my hubby had a 2nd consult with a doctor regarding his back, and he will be having back surgery within the next month.  His back has been bothering him for years and it is either do it now, or put it off longer.  I feel for him….it will be VERY hard on me as well.  We have two kids under the age of 3 and he won’t be able to pick them up for 6 months!  All in all…I worry more about his recovery than how I will deal.  Then, my 10 month old son will have an MRI in a couple weeks to look at a vertabrea in his back.  Although they do not think it is affecting him at all, they want a closer look at his tiny bones.  I worry about having him to go under….he’s just a baby, and to have to be put to sleep for an MRI scares the heck out of me.  Thank GOD for my workouts…I need that ME time to just get in a zone and work it out!

Hope all your training is going well.

What a weekend……Friday night I took the kids to meet my hubby after golfing at a PIZZA joint of all places!  I had the chicken breast and peppers.  Then Saturday, I was suppose to have a ME day since both kids were sick all last week.  Well, while I was at the gym, I got a phone call that one of our dogs either broke or sprained it’s ankle trying to get a ball playing fetch.  Well, my hubby was off to an alumni golf tourney, and my dogs are my babies too…so, cancelled lunch, the pedicure, the shopping therapy…and went to the vet.  It was only a sprain….thank goodness!!  Anyways, later that night a friend was in town with her kids and stopped by.  Well, what is the easiest thing to order…PIZZA!  She wanted pizza, so we ordered that, and I got a salad with chicken on it.  If you knew me…you would know PIZZA is my FAVORITE meal in the whole wide world!z  So, talk about eating good!  :0)  I even got cinnamon rolls and bagels for the guys who were staying at our house for the golf tourney.  I have to say if I made it thru this weekend, I am confident I can eat clean 100% of the time.  I never knew I had it in me!

I think this whole wanting to change…. took finally getting MAD at myself about how I feel.  I am not a morning person, and I get up at 5am to go to the gym about 4 days a week.  I stay hoem with 2 kids under 3, so I am BUSY all day long.  Then I would eat good all day…until that 3pm hour would hit, and I would raid the pantry.  Then I would be upset with myself, and I realized that I was defeating the purpose of my morning workouts.  Yes, it took this long for me to realize this!  I also, would not want to invite people to our lake house due to me feeling uncomfortable about getting in a swimsuit next to them.  (FYI-  I have some friends who are drop dead gorgerous with amazing bodies.)  But gosh, is that a way to live life???  Avoid the lake and having fun??  I decided to finally wise up!

I have used a trainer briefly after each baby…so, I lost the weight…but I want to not be squishy in areas!  (We all have our problem areas don’t we??)

I am by no means fat…I just want to lose body fat.  In fact, my weight is low, but I want that rock hard bod.  Who doesn’t?  Being on this site, I have learned that women just aren’t ever satisfied.  (I am not saying this in a bad way!)  But gosh, there are some women with some kickin’ figures and they all want more results.  I LOVE that we can constantly want to improve ourselves!   I admire so many people on this site!!!  Keep up the good work.

BTW-I just signed up with Jphillips17 to help me with a workout plan and diet.  I was just in a rut and needed a new workout plan.  My own was not getting me the results that I wanted.  I will start that this week, and keep you posted.  I am very excited!!

That is enough of my DEEP thoughts for today!  Off to kiss my babies good night.  Have a good week!

Ok, I had a little more time now to write up my plan/goals for last man standing.  My goal is to eat clean for the whole challenge.  I plan to eat 5-6 meals a day and to include protein in all of those meals.  I also want to increase my veggie intake (which is hard for me, not much of a fan).  For workouts, I want to do 4 HIIT training on the stairmaster.  My legs are my weak spot and I still plan to do weights 4-5 days a week.  I will track my progress by looking at my masurements from today until the end.  I will also try to get my BF done, but the trainers at my gym are always swamped with clients, and I get to the gym at 5:30 am, which they usually start with clients at 5am, so that part may be difficult.  I am just looking to lose bodyfat, not any weight.  I will also try to get some pics taken each week.  I do not plan to cheat for any meals…although I will be out of town over a weekend in a couple weeks and MAY or MAY NOT use a cheat meal in there.  Best of luck to all of you!

I am IN on the last man standing contest.  I work out hard…5:30am most mornings, because I have two under 3 yrs old.  My weakness is eating clean.  I think it will make me more accountable of what I eat.  I plan to post my meals at the end of each day.  Cut me some slack if they aren’t out there asap…I gotta wait til the little one’s sleep!!  :0)  I am looking forward to it!  :0)

Hey anyone…I don’t care if I even write this for myself.  But, here is the story.  I work out hard…I get up at 5 am most days to workout because I have two kids under 3.  But….I need to eat allot cleaner.  I make all this effort to get up, and start my day off right and then around 3pm, I cave and eat sweets.  So, this blog is so I am more accountable for my food choices.  I plan to post what I eat..and even when I am eating BAD!  Maybe then I won’t do it!  So…here goes.  Wish me luck.  I am looking to lean up my abs and legs.

Welcome!
