I am not a sports fan--never was. I have Oakland A's gear because I married a fan. Then, I gave birth to a second fan. 

The Mr. and the Little One bond over sports (especially basketball), statistics, sports radio, vintage and contemporary players, and a love of the game. The Mr. is still coaching a high school, girl's team. And, Little One goes with him. She records the practices and can run down each player's strengths and challenges. I cannot wait to see her on the court as a player. My daughter is playing her first basketball game, tomorrow. I am so excited for her. Her only request was not to be "that mom" and to not be too loud. I assured her, I will be the mom who brings the healthy snacks...and I will not be loud (all of the time).
