I have read about the benefits of intermittent fasting to aid fat loss. It does not sound like a practice that I would like to adopt for my body. But, I thought a financial fast would be good for my pockets. I have wanted to do this for a while. But, I have put it off; it was the equivalent of "starting on Monday" when dieting or cleaning up your diet. There was also something that I wanted. Or, I would find a great deal on E-bay. The key, however is that there were things that I wanted. What would happen if I limited my spending to what I needed? I have a weakness for gym clothes and tennis shoes. And, within the last two days I managed to poke holes in two of my capris!
My first test!
My immediate thought was, "I have to replace those pants." And, I jumped onto Finishline.com and SportsAuthority.com where I found excellent deals! They are in my cart! All I have to do is to pay via PayPal! One click and it is all mine. Ten items for under $100!
Just as I am exercising my willpower to build a better physique; I must use that same will power to build a better future. I am tired of not fitting into my size four jeans; and I am tired Sallie Mae on my back. She feels like just as much weight! She needs a lifestyle change, too.
