Thursday PM: 1 hr Cardio, Abs, Posing
I got into the gym this evening...and it was so busy. Every stepmill, treadmill, and elliptical was taken. A bike was open so I hopped on that with the hopes that a stepmill would soon become available. I was on the bike for about 10 minutes when I realized that I left my Size-On, BCAA, and glutamine-laced water in the car. I got it and when I returned a stepmill was beckoning to me. I finished my 50 minutes, there. I was feeling good, so I headed to the aerobics studio for abs, and then posing practice. The posing was unplanned, but I had my shoes with me. I typically practice at home, here and there. But, it is time for formal practice--shoes and all. I actually got a cramp in my toe, initially. Boy, am I rusty? I was really pleased with my 144 pound shape, but I have to be tighter. Evenutally, I would love to be able to sit in the 140's with visible musculature--but that is years away. In the meantime, I will continue to build. My coach said I will probably lose between and inch and an inch and a half, all over, by the end of this prep--which begins in three days.
Cardio was not easy, by any means, however, I am learning to get through it. 30 minutes now feels luxurious compared to an hour. I came home to my fiber cereal with banana protein shake as my 'milk'. It was like having fruit in my cereal! 30 minutes of cardio is planned for tomorrow along with glutes and hamstrings. I think I'll do back and triceps for Saturday.
