I obviously have mistaken myself for an ecto and put myself on some crazy “rapid weight” gaining diet. PWO today was 4 scoops choc protein, mixed wth 3 egg whites, some water, cinnamon, about a cup of peanut butter, 1/2 box reece’s pieces for C sake. Cooked it up into 2 extremely large waffles and poured cinnamon with a sprinkle of cocoa powder on top. Added honey for my syrup. 3 plums for breakfast. 2 hour workout, legs and -ss. Final set 170 lb deadlift, 8 rep. No double cardio until tomorrow. MAYBE Freaker’s Ball this weekend. 24 days until Dan Ray….unless I manage to scare him away.

Got my daughter back to college. Didn’t get to spend as much time together as I would have liked, either working or sleeping a good part of the weekend. I have been real tired! I am pretty sure it is the crappy high carb eating I have been doing. I’ll be damned if we don’t all need just a little down time to relax on the diet and/or double cardio now and then. Took a two day weekend off from the gym. Not actually intentionally, but it’s all good. Work Saturday, daughter today, and early weekend gym closings, all conspired to have their way with me. Also had three pieces of pizza and a whole box of sea salt caramel almond bars. Yum. Sipping the last of my lukewarm coffee. Belly feels a little soft, thighs a little jiggly. If I weren’t a hard core muscle girl, I might actually like myself better this way.

Mr Dan Ray seems a little concerned with my level of conditioning or rather, (cough choke), leanness for our photo shoot on November 11. “Will 4 weeks be enough time?” he asks me. Enough time for me to eat a little more peanut butter, yessirree. What is it with these fitness photographers and leanness anyway? Whatever happened to the well fed bodybuilder look? Body of the Gods…at least of baroquian art. Gimme a dumbbell in one hand and a big fat turkey leg in the other. Let’s see which set gets filled faster. Tonight I ate a can of cashews while I worked out, along with a diet Monster. It was Friday Night party for one. Came home afterwards and had a huge Mexican Chili Bowl, with a large cup of salsa, another cup pico de gallo. Then decided I needed a sweet-treat, so I made myself three peanut butter chocolate cinnamon protein waffles with honey. Go ahead and choke down another chicken breast. I work so that I can play.

Two places you can always find me. Gym/Library. Living outside town a good 10 miles, these are the only places I come in for, except to drop a kid off, or some groceries up. Both really come in quite handy when I am already in town waiting for kids to get done with activities.
Sometimes we need to be reminded that there is more to life than filling our bellies and emptying our orgasms. Found a good book tonight to do just that! “What Matters”; “The world’s preeminent photojournalists and thinkers depict essential issues of our time”. Check it out. Really.
My college daughter is coming home for 4 days~!! Very excited.
I know the secret to putting on 10 lbs in 5 days. PM me for details. Ok, it’s 8 packets of oatmeal and 5 peanut butter sandwiches.
Pretty sure Dan Ray and I are on for last week of Oct or 2nd week of Nov! This gives me plenty time to first lick the spoon, then put the peanut butter away.

I ate a boatload of peanuts tonight and am mad at myself. Can I not even diet for one week solid with a NY photo shoot to look forward to? Truth is, I was at work and felt light headed and about to pass out. I ate Mexican twice yesterday, skipping rice, and shells, and chips. Plenty of salsa. Had a nice sized salad today, along with 3-4 protein shakes. My body still thought it was dying. I am doing quite a bit of workouts….. have 45 minutes to “look forward to” tonight. Truth is, it is kicking my ass! I work super, super hard. But this dieting doo-dad is the hardest work of all. Work I’m afraid, I am not cut out for.

I believe The Universe is conspiring always to my advantage. This is why things tend to always work out well for me. Once you begin to realize that your mind is the most important property you possess, and that your thoughts can make things happen, you become in control of your life. You are at the steering wheel. So yes, I believe that being sick and missing 4 days of training was a blessing in disguise. I believe the carb/calorie overload will also work to my advantage. I believe there are no mistakes and that everything always works out perfectly for Miss Maddi. Having said all that, I also believe it is time to kick ass. I have one week till showtime. I will low carb it until do day….which means I will probably take some yummy treats for the plane. I refuse to eat chicken however. It will be a protein shake, egg white, tilapia, sort of week. I have two containers of cottage cheese to finish, and then it will be no dairy. Still salad…..I can always have la ensalada. I will be doing 50 minutes of weighted vest stairmill nightly, on top of 20 minutes cardio during the day and an hour plus weights. Have I told you recently that I love my life?

I can’t stop eating! Dang! Almost made it through an entire loaf of Health Nut bread in 18 hours. I think there’s a heel left. I leave for NY in one week tomorrow. But you know, I look at myself, and I like what I see. This is what’s important. Moss has all sorts of muscle girls on his site. I would like to represent the fluffier side of muscle..haha. Really I enjoy the strong, thick, and powerful look. I didn’t get to be 250 by not loving food. Food is definitely a passion. I just have other passions now to balance things out. Had some whitish green added to my tattoo today. I think I liked it better before.

Today was family day part two. This after leg day part two. There will always be two leg days. Went to Ihop. Did you know they have a new menu full of healthy items all 600 calories or less? Check out the back menu. I had Harvest Grain Blueberry Pancakes topped with sliced banana and a side of egg beaters. It was YUM. Then went to the gas station and got some jalapeno pistachios. lol So I had a 15 minute warmup on the ellip, then an hour and a half of leg work. The girls and I went on a 2 mile nature hike (GORGEOUS)….that was my cardio. Tonight for supper I had 2 peanut butter and flax seed sandwiches on whole grain nut bread. I know this is not so typical. Typical is overrated. If you go to Fleming Park, watch out for bull elk in rut. They’re alot like your average male.

I wish I were watching The Olympia. I don’t have cable. Took some pictures tonight which were quite frightening considering I will be in NYC in 11 days. I ate Steve’s nuts! Kassandra set them aside specifically letting me know “these are Steve’s nuts and not to be eaten”……which means of course I couldn’t keep my hands off of them. Finished off the cashews by 9:30 AM this morning, made it about half way through the peanuts by 5:30 PM. Next time just say, “Help yourself to some nuts Maddi!” And I will say, “No, my, my,……I am dieting down for a photo shoot. I wouldn’t dare.” Also ate a banana, a plum, 3 strawberry yogurts, a coconut chocolate herbalife shake (delish!), 1/2 a bag of salad with a chicken breast, 1/2 tomato and some celery, 1 Taco John’s taco and some refried beans. lololol Did have a nice workout with delicious eye candy for dessert. Introducing, my tattoo. Well, one of them. The other is banned in 15 states.

I don’t train sexy. I train like The Wild Woman From Borneo. Often while I am training, I am in the mood to eat heads. Chicken heads, bat heads, anything you put in front of me. People within 12 feet of me often look tasty too. Why is it only their heads I’d like to eat?
