Two For One Special
Had a good workout both today and yesterday. Actually, yesterday was pretty much all over the place. I did get to the gym 3 times however. 45 minutes before work, about 40 on lunch break, and another 45 in the evening. I was going to get my 2 hours in come hell or high water. I figure let life work around my workouts, not the other way around. This shit is NOT negotiable. So yesterday was legs and ass. Stairmill and jogging was the AM. Jogging and 6 sets cable kickbacks/DB deadlifts at lunch. Then a nice run with my hubbie in the PM. He took off to pick up groceries while I got my weights in. Damn! I did about 16 sets in about 25 minutes! Leg press, cable kickbacks, deadlifts, straight leg deadlifts, lying leg curls. Went back to free squats for the first time in a LONG time. What took me so long? These were luscious! Working out to Welcome To The Jungle by GNR, and Heaven Is An Orgasm by LOA. Today was a condensed tricep workout which made it all the sweeter like condensed milk. 10 minute run in the AM, about 45 minutes on weights. Lifting heavy. Feeling burly. Making faces because I can. Came HOME on lunch break today. Then went for a quick run after work instead. This actually energized me. I can come home immediately after work bone tired and piss assed, or I can come home 20 minutes later energized and with a smile on my face. I think the whole family appreciates later.
