First Set Of Squats

My first set of squats since my bone and cartilage transplant 9 months ago.  Hopefully I won’t suffer any pain from the squats.  We went really light.  Don’t give me too much heck over the weight.  I did feel some pain in the knee but it felt more patellar tendon related.

Still Trying To Decide

I am still trying to decide about when to make my comeback.  Training is going awesome.  I am very strong and quite muscular at this bodyweight.  I am weighing about 210ish and feel good about my condition.  I looked at the calendar and their is a WNBF show the first sat in June.  Which would give me plenty of time.  I think I have about 20 lbs of bodyfat to lose.  This current training program has totally transformed my physique.

I am totally addicted to high frequency training.  If you want more info on my current plan ask or go to my free membership site.  

Every single one of my female clients are doing unassisted pullups.  Incredible results.  I gotta give Dr. Tudor Bompa major props for making me aware of these methods.

In the next 2 weeks I will make up my mind if I will start my diet in Jan.  We shall see.

To stand on stage just 1year after my bone and cartilage transplant is giving me goosebumps.  I am so thankful for my doc and this procedure.

Stressors

How do you deal with stressors?  Currently I am dealing with a situation that is causing some significant stress.  Many times elimination is the best way to deter future stress.  What do you guys think?  Especially when you guys have a choice in elimination or deal?

Effort and Intensity Defined

Regardless of your training program you must find a way to improve.  If 6 months from now you are still lifting the same resistances, repetitions, sets, etc. you can’t expect to have more muscle.  Make it happen!!!

Knee Better Today

My knee is doing much, much better today.  I stuck to the leg press and did quite well.  This program is producing some huge gains for me and my clients.  We have many of our ladies doing pullups.  Just amazing to see the great gains so many are getting.  We work crazy hard 3 days a week.  Great job guys.  Many times the workouts are so difficult that many of them have came close to using the trash can. lol.  Heavy and fast is my motto.

Knee Bothering Me

Today my repaired knee is slightly swollen and bothering me a touch.  I guess it is from all the squats I have been doing.  I am kind of discouraged over this.  I was hoping I could add squats back in my workouts.  I am just not sure about that right now.  Squatting is such a valuable exercise however, I will not risk the integrity of my knee to squat.  I am sure it will be fine by tomorrow.

Bone And Cartilage Transplant 9 Months Out

I am about 9 months out from my transplant surgery.  Things are going really well.  I still think I have a long way to go.  I leg pressed today heavier than in a long time.  Muscle tissue on the left leg is coming back.  Still a ways behind the right leg.  I am hoping I can add in some barbell squats soon.  I am so thankful for having this surgery and having a great doctor who could do it.

Great workout today.  I added in some high rep squats.  Holy cats.  I haven’t squated in years.  Light weight but I got some high reps.

Neck Strain

I guess I have strained a muscle in my neck.  It seems like it is my levator scapulae.  I slipped on the ice Monday morning and twisted.  The neck has been painful all week.  However, I wasn’t going to let it slow me down.  I rocked and rolled out a great workout this morning.  My knee is continuing to improve.

Bodybugg Update

I really am impressed with this bodybugg.  I know on a daily basis how many calories I am burning.  Just moving a little bit more adds to your caloric burn.  On Sunday when I stayed home all day I only burned about 2400 calories.  On Monday I got up early and worked out 40 minutes or so.  Walked around much more on Monday and registered 3450 calories.  A really cool gadget.  Kindof expensive though.
