First I want to thank Muscletech for getting me to kick my butt back into gear and my husband for putting up with all my idiosyncrasies over these past 2 months. Now onto my essay…..
A little over 3 1/2 years ago I had my third kiddie. At that time I was 188 pounds. To make a long story short, I ended up putting myself into a mental facility for very bad postpartum depression and also suffered from RLS(restless leg syndrome). In Jan. ‘05 I had enough and started working out. 3 years later in Oct. of ‘07 I was down to 105. With the perils of life and family the weight started coming back ,so did the mood swings and RLS. By march I was back up to 130.That is when I took action and started lifting, and only lifting, hard and heavy. By may I was at 118 and that is when I saw "the contest". I had always wanted to make a career out of fitness in some way, and thought, this just may be my big break, as long as I dedicate 210% I know I can do it.
As I started incorporating cardio into my "conest dedication" I noticed I no longer had mood swings nor did I suffer from RLS anymore. The doctor says that because I started doing cardio again, the chemicals that it releases helps with depression as well as a number of ailments I really have BB and MT to thank for more then just helping me get into great shape. Hopefully this can be a long road to encouraging others, as well as educating them on the importance of being fit.

Three months ago I decided it was time to make some life changes. With two full time jobs at hand, I needed a supplement that could help me achieve maximum results in the small amount of spare time I have. A google search on fat burners led me to Bodybuilding.com. I compared my options and then invested my hopes in Hydroxycut Max. I read about the MuscleTech Body Transformation Contest, and entered the contest for extra motivation. I’ve always wondered, is it really possible to achieve a body makeover in such a short amount of time?
With a combination of a good diet and excersize, I am happy to say I have achieved high goals. I have trimmed an incredible 4 1/2 inches off my waist in just 11 weeks. I have sculpted a body I never new I had, all while eating 6 meals a day and excersizing sometimes only twice a week. I am now stronger and healthier than I have ever been. My energy level is high and I feel great. I am happy in so many aspects! When I started this contest, I never foresaw so many positive changes ahead of me. The best part of the whole journey? The impact this experience has had on my self esteem. For the first time in my life, I can look in the mirror and smile. I never thought I could possibly lose 17 pounds in just 11 short weeks, not me, not with my schedule. But I did it! All in thanks to a great fat burning supplement by MuscleTech. Hydroxycut Max really works!

Quite honestly, I was a bit embarrassed to admit that I entered a Muscletech body transformation contest. After having two kids and reaching very high bodyfat/weight, I did not think my body would recover well enough transform into something to be proud of. Before the contest, I though that I had already made good progress in weight loss and muscle gain but I hit a plateau. I was giving up on my dream for abs, began to accept that my thighs were just going to be beefy and big with no definition, I was never going to get rid of my round mushy hips, and my waist was not ever going to get smaller. However, all that doubt was changed. The only thing different in my training was the incorporation of Hydroxycut. I totally believe that Hydroxycut helped energize my workouts and aid in fat loss. I lost a stubborn 7 lbs., an inch and a half from my waist, two inches from my hips (big change), and an inch and a half from my thighs (angels sing here). This changed my dress size (more importantly my jean size) from an 8 to a 4. The inches and fat loss are apparent when I slide into a pair of jeans and I do not have to squeeze them over my thighs and hips. It is the greatest feeling in the world now that I have reached the goal I set out for myself and this is only the beginning. Now that I know I can lose fat and gain muscle, I will continue using the Hydroxycut product. The most exciting of all is that I am now looking to participate in my first bodybuilding competition. Thank you Muscletech for inspiring me, providing a great product, and giving me the results I had always wanted.

Entering this contest has inspired me in many ways. Loosing weight was my #1 goal and by doing so I have achieved so much more! With a regimen of Hydroxycut Hardcore, adjusting my diet, and exercising combined with weight training, I have successfully lost 40 pounds and 31 inches! Ten years ago, I joined a "certain group" and lost 15 pounds in 3 months through dieting and exercising. But now 10 years later and older, and in the same amount of time, I lost 40 pounds. At the beginning of this contest, my trainer told me that using Hydroxycut Hardcore with proper diet and exercise, I would be able to achieve a greater weight loss. I know how hard it is to loose weight, especially being older, but I decided to give it my all and see what happens.
Well, I do believe it works for I have seen the results! At the age of 47, I can run on the treadmill. Three months ago I would have thought that to be an impossible task! I feel better about everything, inside and out! I have more energy, and can move, bend, and even breath so much better. Heartburn is a thing of the past. I am forever grateful to my trainers for the many hours they dedicated to helping me reach my goals along with others who have encouraged me. I am also thankful to Team MuscleTech for developing products that aid in helping achieve success. Thank you Team MuscleTech!

First of all, I would like to thank Muscletech and Bodybuilding.com for giving me the motivation to work out again. I know I haven’t made a huge difference as some other people, but to me I have. As much as I would’ve loved to come off my antidepressants I haven’t, but I have reduced the amount that I am taking. Since working out again, I feel incredible and have the energy to keep up with my kids. I can look in the mirror now and not cringe at what I see and I actually feel sexy once again. I still have alot of work ahead of me and I’m learning about proper nutrition every day, which is what I need the most. Thank you guys again and Good Luck to everyone and KEEP IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are my after pics. Taking Hydroxycut helped me shed 10 pounds and cut 2 inches from my waist. I am pretty active mom of 3. I go to the gym about 3-4 times per week. Adding Hydroxycut to my routine allowed for quick results I could see and I have gotten several compliments from others too. I plan to continue taking the product and I look for even better results by years end. I would recommend this product to others.

Instant access to everything is all I have time for. There are cell phones and the World Wide Web. Why should I cook a full course Christmas dinner in a regular oven if a convection oven will get the job done better and faster? This use is the type of thinking that made me decide to do the Muscletech Challenge.
Everyone knows fat burners aren’t necessary to lose weight, but it’s an edge. Especially, if the product is a good quality product that I know will work. Muscletech was my secret weapon years ago- so when I saw the transformation challenge on Bodybuilding.com bells went off in my head. I already knew firsthand that the products were reliable. There were more pros than cons for trying the transformation. Joining this challenge was a great idea to jump start my way back into being fit. I really needed an edge, and Muscletech was it.
The kids are super energized. They stay up late and get up early. Saying I was too tired all of the time was an understatement. Hydryoxycut Max energized my world. Creakic meant saving time measuring and mixing Cell-tech while my toddler crayolas the wall- yes crayolas is a word if you have young ones. A can of Nitrotech stays nearby just in case. It’s not always easy to cook protein because of time constraints. There were many days during the challenge that I grabbed a can of Nitrotech for breakfast instead of skipping the meal because of time. It all paid off.
Now I have the energy to work out. Of course everyone knows that working out provides energy, but that’s pointless if I’m too worn out to work out. I’ll say one hundred times and more “Muscletech gave me that edge!” My body has gotten back into the habit of eating well and being active. That is the most important thing to me. This challenge and Muscletech products really helped me get where I am, and the bottom line is I don’t think I would have done it so quickly or efficiently without Muscletech.
For instance, I set a goal for the challenge to regain my “Army days” bodyfat of 18%. Now, I figured I would lose a few pounds, but I didn’t really think I would get close to that goal in such a short amount of time. I say this with a current bodyfat of 20.9% ! My own eyes almost popped out of my head when the trainer told me the measurement. That’s a 7% change. I still have physical signs of being a mom, but I really came a long way. It took a lot for me to begin this journey back to fitness. My oldest child is so proud of me, my friends and cousins want to copy what I am doing for myself. During Christmas, My family members talked in hushed voices about how chubby I had gotten. I can’t wait until the Christmas gathering this year, because I’m just getting started…

My first glimpse of nutrition or a bodybuilder’s physique happened in 1986. I was watching television. MTV, and ‘WWF’s wrestling’. Also, watching Arnold preach about milk and vitamins.
Highschool was the first glimpse I got of actually being able to work out with weights and take it seriously. However, I did not take my diet seriously. Carnation Instant breakfast shakes, french fries, what my mom cooked, and Little Debbie snacks or cookies were all part of what I considered to be ‘healthy’.
Highschool was also the time that my digestive system changed over night on me. For the next eight - and - a - half years, I studied nutrition. My diet changed drastically.
From viewing various Jay Cutler dvd’s. I have learned about Ezekiel bread and that liquid egg whites are easier to digest than regular eggs.
I entered the MuscleTech Body Transformation, because my digestion decided out of the clear blue, to change back to a mild form of gastroparesis. I now can eat without worry of horrible stomach pain. I also wanted to test myself. I also learned about keeping food alkaline versus acidic.
With the aid of ‘Gakic Hardcore’ - Pre-workout, ‘Leukic Hardcore’ - immediately before workout. Both of these kept my strength and focus throughout my entire workout. I also used ‘Hydroxycut Hardcore’ as a fat burner, and in my final week I used ‘ Hydrazide’ as a diuretic. With these supplements and a sound diet. I am happy with what I see in the mirror.

Skinny fat is what I was before this transformation. Even though I am skinny I was very unhealthy. For 8 hours of the day I am a prekindergarten teacher and the parents bring unhealthy snacks that get too tempting to resist. I started eating 2 to 3 honey buns, pretzels, and Oreo cookies daily! The guilt was incredible, but then I found the transformation competition. My goals were to increase lean muscle, get toned, and reduce body fat.
I have since taken up cardio kickboxing and have been dabbling a bit in MMA. On my first day of kickboxing I nearly puked, but now I can complete the hour class with ease. Not only did I increase my cardio endurance, but I also increased my strength with resistance training. Now to nutrition. This was definitely the hardest part. The social aspect made it so difficult. However, since I have gained so much knowledge about fitness and nutrition I wrote a grant to start a wellness program at the school where I teach.
This transformation has inspired me to get my colleagues fit and healthy. My future plans are to become a group and personal fitness instructor. I truly believe I found my passion. This transformation has changed my life.
