MuscleTech®/BodySpace $50,000 Transformation Contest Essay

strongslim98

The transformation campaign has changed my life by giving me a new focus and that focus is now on taking better care of my body and health.

I have always been skinny even though I ate a lot of junk food.  But with this campaign I decided to do a little research into nutrition and came up with a healthy way to try and gain weight.  I also selected various work out routines for the gym and gave each workout my best effort.  It was tough trying to balance work, gym, and the proper number of meals each day but I hung in there.

Throughout the four weeks, I learned that it takes focus and discipline in order to change the way you look.  And this campaign has fueled me to have both.  Seeing what I can achieve in such a short time has motivated me to continue to build and transform my body and one day I will have the body of my dreams and the good health that comes with it.

ESSAY:

Well, here I am at the end of my grueling six weeks of dieting and training.  I would like to thank MuscleTech and Bodybuilding.com for the opportunity to achieve something I’ve never accomplished before.  That is shredding my body fat down to a single digit, 6%!  I believe Hydroxycut Hardcore played a tremendous role in aiding me to achieve my goal of a low body fat percentage.

I became a hardcore gym rat January 2007 when I was deployed to Afghanistan.  Being on duty 12 hours and having 12 hours to myself, I spent a lot of time working out and reading a variety of muscle magazines that inspired me to want to become a bodybuilder and personal trainer.  It was in the desert that I experimented with my first supplement stack, which was the Cell-Tech and Nitro-Tech Hardcore stack by MuscleTech.

I joined this transformation program because I have always been a bulky guy in the double digit body fat percentile, always wondering what it would feel like to be a single digit guy.  June 1st I was surfing bodybuilding.com website and scrolled across the MuscleTech transformation registration icon and said, why not?  Now here I am transformed by MuscleTech products 6 weeks later from 211 lbs, 11% body fat to a ripped 195 lbs, 6% body fat.  This has been a great experience for me no matter what the outcome and I’m even more inspired now to pursue my goal of becoming a professional bodybuilder.

fla62’s final essay

Monday, July 14th, 2008

fla62

I was lacking in many areas of my life way before the MuscleTech transformation campaign started. A few years ago, I thought I was in the best physical shape of my life, and this gave me great self-esteem. Although I was more confident, I was still ashamed of my body. Yes, I felt that I looked great…but only with a shirt on…I still had rolls people! At the time, I was so self-conscious that I never even let my girlfriend see what was under the shirt! Of course, this ruined the relationship rather quickly :( .

After being dumped, I decided to take out my frustrations in the gym. Unfortunately, I went a little too heavy on incline bench and injured my shoulder. To make a long story short, I was out of commission for a few months. Even after my injury healed, I was in such a depressed state that I had no desire to lift anymore. This lasted a couple of years, but finally I began to come around a few months ago. At just the right time, I came across the MuscleTech Competition. This competition gave me new life and the drive to put my best foot forward and make the greatest change of my life. The combination of NanoVapor, good nutrition, and a good workout regimen has allowed me to achieve what I never thought was possible in two months. I don’t have rolls anymore people! Thank you MuscleTech for the opportunity and for making quality products!

First I want to thank Muscletech for getting me to kick my butt back into gear and my husband for putting up with all my idiosyncrasies over these past 2 months. Now onto my essay…..

A little over 3 1/2 years ago I had my third kiddie. At that time I was 188 pounds. To make a long story short, I ended up putting myself into a mental facility for very bad postpartum depression and also suffered from RLS(restless leg syndrome). In Jan. ‘05 I had enough and started working out. 3 years later in Oct. of ‘07 I was down to 105. With the perils of life and family the weight started coming back ,so did the mood swings and RLS. By march I was back up to 130.That is when I took action and started lifting, and only lifting, hard and heavy. By may I was at 118 and that is when I saw "the contest". I had always wanted to make a career out of fitness in some way, and thought, this just may be my big break, as long as I dedicate 210% I know I can do it.

As I started incorporating cardio into my "conest dedication" I noticed I no longer had mood swings nor did I suffer from RLS anymore. The doctor says that because I started doing cardio again, the chemicals that it releases helps with depression as well as a number of ailments I really have BB and MT to thank for more then just helping me get into great shape. Hopefully this can be a long road to encouraging others, as well as educating them on the importance of being fit.

Transformation In The Making Essay

Monday, July 14th, 2008

lisa3phillips

First off, I want to thank Muscletech and Bodybuilding.com for the opportunity they gave me to reach a goal that I had set and thought I’d never reach.

When I read about your challenge, I hadn’t lifted weights since High School eleven years ago and said to myself, "my chances of ever winning this would be slim!" I was in such bad shape and knew I needed to get my body in better condition and what greater motivation then this contest.

When I first started out back in the gym, I felt tried and weak. But between the muscletech supplements and the change in my diet, things started turning around for me in a couple weeks. I noticed my energy lever was increasing and my strength was starting to climb. I knew at this point my goal was attainable. After a few months, I already exceeded my expectations.

I went from feeling like I didn’t belong in the gym to "hanging with the big boys." This contest has really given me inspiration in every area of my life. I know this opportunity has helped me to be a better daddy! So whether I win this contest or not, I have won in life.

Great MuscleTech Supplement + The Average Joe = RESULTS!

Monday, July 14th, 2008

IDGecko

Three months ago I decided it was time to make some life changes. With two full time jobs at hand, I needed a supplement that could help me achieve maximum results in the small amount of spare time I have. A google search on fat burners led me to Bodybuilding.com. I compared my options and then invested my hopes in Hydroxycut Max. I read about the MuscleTech Body Transformation Contest, and entered the contest for extra motivation. I’ve always wondered, is it really possible to achieve a body makeover in such a short amount of time?

With a combination of a good diet and excersize, I am happy to say I have achieved high goals. I have trimmed an incredible 4 1/2 inches off my waist in just 11 weeks. I have sculpted a body I never new I had, all while eating 6 meals a day and excersizing sometimes only twice a week. I am now stronger and healthier than I have ever been. My energy level is high and I feel great. I am happy in so many aspects! When I started this contest, I never foresaw so many positive changes ahead of me. The best part of the whole journey? The impact this experience has had on my self esteem. For the first time in my life, I can look in the mirror and smile. I never thought I could possibly lose 17 pounds in just 11 short weeks, not me, not with my schedule. But I did it! All in thanks to a great fat burning supplement by MuscleTech. Hydroxycut Max really works!

Helen (Islandfun) Essay

Monday, July 14th, 2008

islandfun

Quite honestly, I was a bit embarrassed to admit that I entered a Muscletech body transformation contest.  After having two kids and reaching very high bodyfat/weight, I did not think my body would recover well enough transform into something to be proud of. Before the contest, I though that I had already made good progress in weight loss and muscle gain but I hit a plateau. I was giving up on my dream for abs, began to accept that my thighs were just going to be beefy and big with no definition, I was never going to get rid of my round mushy hips, and my waist was not ever going to get smaller. However, all that doubt was changed. The only thing different in my training was the incorporation of Hydroxycut. I totally believe that Hydroxycut helped energize my workouts and aid in fat loss. I lost a stubborn 7 lbs., an inch and a half from my waist, two inches from my hips (big change), and an inch and a half from my thighs (angels sing here). This changed my dress size (more importantly my jean size) from an 8 to a 4. The inches and fat loss are apparent when I slide into a pair of jeans and I do not have to squeeze them over my thighs and hips. It is the greatest feeling in the world now that I have reached the goal I set out for myself and this is only the beginning. Now that I know I can lose fat and gain muscle, I will continue using the Hydroxycut product. The most exciting of all is that I am now looking to participate in my first bodybuilding competition. Thank you Muscletech for inspiring me, providing a great product, and giving me the results I had always wanted.

Momma-G’s Essay.

Monday, July 14th, 2008

Momma-G

Entering this contest has inspired me in many ways.  Loosing weight was my #1 goal and by doing so I have achieved so much more!  With a regimen of Hydroxycut Hardcore, adjusting my diet, and exercising combined with weight training, I have successfully lost 40 pounds and 31 inches!  Ten years ago, I joined a "certain group" and lost 15 pounds in 3 months through dieting and exercising.  But now 10 years later and older, and in the same amount of time, I lost 40 pounds.  At the beginning of this contest, my trainer told me that using Hydroxycut Hardcore with proper diet and exercise, I would be able to achieve a greater weight loss.  I know how hard it is to loose weight, especially being older, but I decided to give it my all and see what happens.

Well, I do believe it works for I have seen the results! At the age of 47, I can run on the treadmill. Three months ago I would have thought that to be an impossible task! I feel better about everything, inside and out! I have more energy, and can move, bend, and even breath so much better. Heartburn is a thing of the past. I am forever grateful to my trainers for the many hours they dedicated to helping me reach my goals along with others who have encouraged me. I am also thankful to Team MuscleTech for developing products that aid in helping achieve success. Thank you Team MuscleTech!

Finally the awaited day! Essay

First of all, I want to thank MuscleTech and Bodybuilding.com for all you have done. When I began this contest, all I had in mind was losing a few inches off my midsection and firming up. I had no idea that this contest would bring me so much more. In doing this contest I got back in touch with a person who went missing a long time ago, me. As a full time worker and a college student, the only thing that became important in my life was which test was coming up or which employee wasn’t doing their job. This contest has given me a second chance at happiness with myself and others.
Thanks to this contest and Nitro-Tech Hardcore, I was able achieve my goal of building lean muscle mass.

MuscleTech $50,000 Transformation Contest Essay

Monday, July 14th, 2008

leonkingjr

This contest has not only been a physical transformation for me, but also a transition into a whole new way-of-life.  Two years of being inactive physically and making terrible food choices for the sake of convenience made for a tripling in the amount of body fat I was carrying, not to mention a decline in my overall health.  This contest was the jump-start I needed to get my life and priorities back on-track.  I made the decision to dedicate some time every day to my physical fitness and proper nutrition, and in doing so have made an influence on others, which is what this is all about.  I have used some protein powders and creatines before, but without results.  This was my first experience with MuscleTech supplements and I’ve learned through this transformation that they offer great products that make it easy and convenient to maintain proper nutrition during a lifestyle on-the-go.  Without the help of MuscleTech, I never could have made such a drastic change in ONLY SIX WEEKS!  The MuscleTech supplements are so easy to take, taste great, and go to work fast to aid in the development of your physique.  Proper supplementation with MuscleTech products, along with healthy food choices and a commitment to spending some time each day in an intense training session will make all the difference in the world.  Now I go forth to pursue my passion of helping others help themselves in fitness and nutrition (check out my BodySpace for more information).

Final Essay

Monday, July 14th, 2008

jeana01

First of all, I would like to thank Muscletech and Bodybuilding.com for giving me the motivation to work out again.  I know I haven’t made a huge difference as some other people, but to me I have. As much as I would’ve loved to come off my antidepressants I haven’t, but I have reduced the amount that I am taking. Since working out again, I feel incredible and have the energy to keep up with my kids.  I can look in the mirror now and not cringe at what I see and I actually feel sexy once again. I still have alot of work ahead of me and I’m learning about proper nutrition every day, which is what I need the most.  Thank you guys again and Good Luck to everyone and KEEP IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I finally had enough of being over weight and last September I decided to lose the weight,I was making progress then I got a job working over night;started eating out of the snack machine because every one else was doing it.So after that then Thanksgiving and Christmas I got back up to 284lbs from 270.But at the end of March I decided to get to the Muscle Tech Contest,I learn to clean up my diet and started exercising again with the motivation of winning the contest.I did all of my work out at home using the Total Gym XLS and free weights;my cardio consisted of running outside, doing hill runs and doing a sprint/walk routine.

I am down to 239lbs which I have not weighed less than 250 since I was in jr. high,so that is a long time.Basically I’ve done more in 3 months with a home gym work out than I have in the 6 years I had been working out in a gym;which is a little depressing and exciting at the same time.So thanks to the Muscle Building Stack,Leukic Hardcore,Creakic hardcore,Hydroxycut Hardcore and Nitro Tech I was able to lose 45lbs; go from about 30% body fat to 16%.I am glad I joined this contest no matter what the results are because I have gotten the most important results already.
