The results are in for the MuscleTech $50,000 Transformation Contest presented by BodySpace.

In early March 2008, MuscleTech®, the world’s #1 sports supplement brand, teamed up with Bodybuilding.com and BodySpace, the world’s most visited bodybuilding website. Together, these industry heavyweights announced the biggest contest in bodybuilding history – the MuscleTech $50,000 Transformation Contest presented by BodySpace – and with it, one of the most lucrative prize packages:

• $25,000

When news hit the Bodybuilding.com message boards, they lit up with excitement.

Challenges were laid and the competition began to heat up almost instantly. And beginning on March 24, 2008, 1,147 bodybuilders and diehard fitness fanatics committed to a full-blown, total-body musclebuilding transformation. Over the next few weeks the official contest thread grew to more than 2,200 posts spread across more than 75 pages. The contest blog filled with transformation photos and personal journals from contest entrants documenting their transformations.

16 weeks later, the entrants had given their sweat and tears and adopted a lifestyle that’s on par with that of some of the world’s top pro bodybuilders. Without a doubt, they’ve earned a place among those elite athletes.

Of course, Team MuscleTech™ is upholding its end of the bargain and awarding the winner with the best prize package in bodybuilding contest history. But most importantly, Team MuscleTech wants to thank everyone who entered. I was in contact with Victor Tenuta from MT yesterday, and he said the winners have, indeed, been picked, and most of the affidavits/releases have already been returned.

The deadline for all essays to be posted here is at midnight tonight - don’t delay, get them posted ASAP!!  (Be sure to choose the "essay" category on the right-hand side of the editor window before submitting.)

Only entrants who complete all the application requirements (including the final essay) will be considered for the $50,000 grand prize!

Everyone should be aware that this contest officially ends at midnight on Monday, July 14, 2008.

Thus, all after photos and final essays need to be posted by them.  Anything posted after that cutoff time will not be accepted.

Just to clarify, the essays must be submitted by the end of the contest on July 14, 2008.

Also, remember to make sure that your essay follows the guidelines:

e. Essay: Write an essay describing what impact the transformation campaign had on your life (the “Essay”). The essay must be truthful, be entirely your own work, and must not have been previously published. Essays may not exceed two-hundred and fifty (250) words.

If anyone is having problems getting their before photos to show up in their blog post after successfully uploading them, just go ahead and post it anyway, and I’ll go in and fix the problem.

(It’s not really a problem, it’s just that you didn’t click on the thumbnails, select using originals, then "send to the editor.")

We are pulling a list of the new registrations each day and granting access to this group blog from that list.
