…so yesterday was leg day, i was pumped, even though i cant get a decent lifting parter to say with me, but oh well, so i walk into the gym and there is everyone crowded around on the leg machines, and im like "oh great! there is a squat comp, so i wont get to get a decent workout in", well i was wrong, it was a leg press comp, which i never heard of b4, but didn’t care b/c that means i could still get my squat on!! well after my second set i look over and see these guys struggling, i guess they never trained to go real low b4 and it was taking everyone out, well after a lil convincing, i was like alright ill hop in there, well who would of thunk, i took home 1st and got a good leg workout in, not a bad night!!!

give me your advice, on training legs…

i want to mix up my work out a lot, i want to start seperating my leg days, do quads on one day and hams and glutes on another, but i dont want to really work them both hard on both days( i kow they will use both on most exercises but i really want to focus on the muscle for the day), i will keep them on opposite sides of the week, and i was wonder what works for you or has in the past.  my legs arnt very strong, but have a good basis to start from, i have been training them pretty well for the past 4 months steady, and im ready for a change up. so if you could tell me what exercises you would do for you quad days, and what you would do for you hams and glutes day. thanks…

MY FOREARMS LACK BIG TIME, I TRAIN THEM, BUT NOTHING REALLY, I NEED HEIGHT ON MY BACHIORADIALIS AND WRIST EXTENDORS BIG TIME, I NEVER REALLY NOTICED UNTIL RECENTLY, AND I THINK ITS TOTALLY TAKING AWAY FROM MY ARMS, LIKE I SAID I WANT TO BE COMPLETELY PROPORTIONAL AND BALANCED SO IF ANYONE HAS A TRICK THAT HELPED THEM, LET ME KNOW, IF YOU WANT TO SEE WHAT I MEAN LOOK AT http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com//img/11024317/progresspic/23777orig.jpg

im been so ready to get back in the gym these last two weeks, this military martial arts class ive been in has done nothing but bruse up my body and set me back on personal fitness goal, but i test out saturday and today and tomorrow is only review so i wont be too tired to hit up the gym, i i start tonight, im so excited, im trying to hit 200lbs by the end of the month, im about 190lbs currently, give or take a couple, so mad calories!!! and i love to eat so im excited. not too many injuries, but a bunch of bruses, nothing major tho, i kinda lose my partner though, so thats going to suck, his goal is changing, he weighs 215 already and is my height, so he is ready to start cutting, i still feel i need to get around that same weight b4 i do. i have until july 1st to get as heavy as i can get, i figure if i train my legs hard enought then the goal is reachable.  they are new(never really trained them b4 a few months ago), and i have already had some good results from them, so i am hoping they catch up rather quickly, these past two weeks def shocked my body so im hoping it is really to start building again. look out for more progress pics at the end of the month…later

About 1/2 way done and 1/2 way home

I started this transformation in late Feb., when i got to Iraq, started bulking the day i stepped foot in Kuwait, well the best attempt of bulking i could, with only chow halls and no grocery stores, i tried to get my hands on as much protein as possible, and still do.  I have made some great gains (mainly on my gut) and still have about 120 days left to push my body to its limits. I’m not saying I’m quitting when I get home, but this is the time for me to make improvement b4 I get back.  I’ve hit a pretty good plateau at 195lbs, but I’ve have to spend the last week doing combat conditioning training (yes i said combat training in combat and no it doesn’t make much sense to me either) and it has shocked my body quite a bit. I’m still aiming for a firm 215 b4 I leave but the last goal i set for myself (200lbs by April 1st) i fell 5 lbs short.  All that means is i have more to make up to satisfy myself. My main focus’s are my legs (still chicken legs) tri’s, rear delts and my lats. I still want to improve the other muscle groups as well but these are the ones i neglected over the years b/c of laziness and… Well just being new to working out.  

Well that’s my story, wish me luck and I’m always open to advice, like I said I’m still very inexperienced, and have already learned so many thing just by joining this site! 

question about training pecs

my gym partner has had problems with his pec growth, he says he feels his delts getting a mad pump on chest days, like they are almost taking over, and his strength increases fine, but his mass on his pecs don’t, and its very discouraging b/c he wants his chest to catch up with his arms and the rest of his body, if you have any input of have heard of a similar case, and know of a good routine for him to try our let me know. thanks

oh yeah this is my first bb blog by the way!
