NO TRICKS OR SECRETS?? OMG!!!
This week we maxed out for football. I got a 425 deadlift, 300 squat, and 245 bench at 155 pounds. Some of the younger guys came up to me and started asking what I took and how much they could bench if they took it. It was hard not to laugh at them. I tried to explain to a bounch of freshman lifters how sticking with it and eating correctly will help them more than any supplement they can buy. Then they looked at me funny as if I should have told them to go to GNC and spend all of their birthday money. I don’t understand why it is so hard to believe that hard work and proper nutrition is the key. I also told them to stay away from parties and they laughed. Then I asked them what one of their friends who was much larger than I maxed. I said exactly his parties are helping him a lot aren’t they. So I hope to have helped some guys understand what it’s all really about.
