 mix

1 cup natural peanut butter

1/2 cup raw oats

1/2 cup all natural honey

5 scoops vanilla whey protein

mix all ingredients together press and roll until blended well. then pack table spoon with mixture and take peanut ball out and put on plate. mixture should make 24 balls. cover and place plate in refrigerator enjoy after an hour or two.

Nutrition facts (per ball)

total calories 119 per ball

these are fast and easy and make a great snack at night to curb cravings for something unhealthy. I eat 2 with a vanilla protein shake its like cookies and milk.  Have Fun!

WTF!

August 29, 2009

Ok, so here is the story. I walked into the sauna after a hard workout to chill out and relax and laying on the lower bench with one leg up on the upper bench is this dude no towel junk hanging to the side. Now, im not trying to hate on anybody or anything but……WTF!!! Anyway, thats not the end of the story, homeboy has a friend who is sitting on the top bench just hangin out…….with no towel shootin the breeze. Oh it gets better, to top it all off the sauna……….IS NOT EVEN ON!!! thats right its not even warm in the damn thing! So i turned around, walked out and on the way out noticed the clearly posted sign "please cover up apropriatley" anyway please cover up in the sauna it’s not going to kill you. Oh and if you are the guy who stands up but ass naked in the hot tub with your junk bobbin on the top ov the water, knock that **** off too.  Thanks.

SPLITS ARE S**T?

July 28, 2009

Kind of on the same note as my last blog about over training. For a long time i felt like i had to train every muscle group, every week or i would lose "muscle mass" this i found is false, in fact i realized that forcing myself to train a muscle when it hasn’t recovered from my last beating was preventing me from packing on the size that i wanted. Now even though i still feel like i over train, i have progressed by just simply listening to my body. On my way to the gym I figure out which muscle group has recovered the most and that is the one i work. I admit sometimes it’s tough because i would rather work arms or chest rather than tear up my legs but by waiting until they are ready to be worked, i have amazing workouts! Like today i worked my arms that i havent worked for 8 or 9 days but WOW what a pump today! Anyway i hope this helps some over training ectomorphs. :-}

OVERTRAINING?

July 26, 2009

Ok, this is a question that has been on my mind for a long time and i think it’s time to do something about it. I am obsessed with health and fitness! When  i started ten years ago i would go to the gym 6-7 days a week and would train for up to 2 hours each time following ridiculous routines that i found in muscle magazines. Well, to make a long story short, i was not on steroids like the guys in those magazines, so i got stronger but didn’t pack on much muscle for years. Over the years despite my love for health and fitness and just ripping up the gym, I have tapered off to 4-5 times a week and have made tremenduos gains in muscle mass over the last 2 years. Now, my issue is when i go to the gym I hit it so hard that im toast for days after and have a hard time going more than one day inbetween workouts. I think that deep down i know that making gains in muscle mass happens by eating right and getting sufficient rest but i have a hard time taking more than one day off in-between workouts that being an ectomorph seems to require.

Thanks for listening.
