Friday, May 4th, 2007Dumb Lifters!!
What is it with people wanting to be body builders but lift with horrible form.. I see people in the gym evey day that think they can get a body builder physique by lifting as much as they possibly can by swinging their body of bouncing the weight!
Ok so this guy I see at the gym almost every day is doing tricep pushdowns with a straight bar. He puts as much weight on it he possibly can and while doing his set he lets the bar go always to the top of the cable machine and swings the weight down so hard that he causes his body to be in a seated position! It is so annoying! He gives me the image of a constipated monkey trying to lift weights! Between the loud crashing of the weights and the hideous form it is clearly obvious why he does not see any results and looks almost exactly like he did two years ago.
Any comments or stories? I would like to hear what goes on in your gym…
