Totally Gutted
Didn’t have a great day yesterday. Found out that I’ll be getting no more funding for my PhD which means I’m going to have to find about £2000 by next Spetember. Plus had a rather large gas/elec, bill arrive yesterday as well. All this means I’ll probably have to take on a second job for a while, which in turn kills any chances I have of competing soon - I’m not going to have the time or cash to spend out on the amounts of food I’ve been eating of late, and other things like fake tan…I’m truely disappointed since I felt like I was getting somewhere, only to have it stopped in its tracks by bills.

Oh Mike, it’s just not right. I wish you had a way out of this. They say everything happens for a reason. I sure hope there’s a good reason why for you.
Please keep a future competition in mind as that will keep you strong. I wish you well my friend. Oh but you were so ready Mike.

Oh no - this isn’t good. You are so close now - it’s only 35 days till Titan. Can you get a second job in 36 days’ time?

Hoping my financial situation’s a bit better by November - there’s another competition then lined up especially for first-timers. At present I’m aiming for that one.
