I went to the figure comp. and loved it! but I think that I am going to have to wait until next competition season….. so I am now training for a 10K in two weeks and a sprint tri in 4 weeks. I super pumped!!

So this Saturday I am going to my first figure competition! I know it sounds silly, but I have been wanting to get to one for the past year and havent been able to find one to attend. There is one right around the corner from my house!! I am hoping that this will really get me motivated to compete. I want to compete, but am intimidated by what to expect….so now I will have some idea what actually happens at competitions and what will be expected of myself. Plus, I might recognize some competitors from my gym that I can harass afterwards ;) Anyway, just thought I would share!! Hope everyone is training hard and eating clean!

Hi everyone, thank you so much for your well wishes. I am a week PO and feeling pretty good. I will probably be back in the gym next week doing low impact cardio-maybe a little biking. ANYTHING is better than sitting here on my couch, watching every movie I’ve ever purchased!!! I know I am going to be a bit softer than I was before, but that is all the motivation I need to work harder to get back to where I was and surpass it!! Thanks again.

Hi everyone, I am going to be out of the gym probably for 3 weeks total (due to a surgery). I am freaking out about 1. Gaining weight 2. losing my hard earned muscle. Does anyone have any tips on not turning into a a flabby girl the next 3 weeks. Thanks!

ive had 2 really off days, not eating extremely bad, but bad enough. TOTALLY off my schedule. Need some motivation to get back to where I was headed. Wish me luck…

I’m still not seeing the progress that I want. Trying not to lose patience, I did start Lipo-6 this week, and it doesnt bother me in any way, so I will keep taking it. Hopefully that will help! I do feel positive about diet, I feel very in control and I am eating clean.
With all this mumbling, I think it is time for a run and yoga.

Today I finally did incline bench with 35’s..yah!! I was having trouble going from 30 to 35, took my husbands advice, took a couple weeks off of incline with dbs and did bench press instead. It made me stronger, nice!
Now I am still trying to figure out this diet thing. I’m having reactions to different foods, and its killin me. I have to figure this out and I have to lose BODY FAT. Sorry, just have to vent every once and a while. Not feeling so hot today…..

todays workout felt good, it was chest and tris. I increased my weight in both. I feel I am getting stronger, but I am stuck on incline db press–my hubby recommended doing incline chest press for the next couple weeks to see if I can get stronger that way. Looking forward to it.

I have all my books for getting certified by ACE. I am going to start studying tomorrow. I am excited to learn and to eventually help people get healthy. Anyone else a ACE certifited PT? Wondering how long it took you to get through the whole book and how the test was. Thanks

So today starts my straight-up, no bs, clean eating life style. I eat healthy, but I want better results, so its time to get serious!! Next is trying to figure out supplements…..
