Thursday - Light Chest Day
May 2, 2008So yesterday was "Light Chest Day", and I have to say that it went well. Other than the Bench Press, the Incline Dumbbell Press, the Decline Bumbbell Press and the Flat-Bench Flyes are all 3 sets of 25 reps. Last week when I did the exercises, I was strugglin to get to 20. I took a rest at 15 for 4 seconds and then kept on going. But yesterday… I didn’t have to rest! I could feel the lactic acid was building up and I was able to push myself through it mentally and although it was still difficult, I did it. And afterwards, it felt really good. Plus, it was one hell of a workout!
And, to top it off, my girlfriend actually noticed that I did a chest workout yesterday! Usually it’s arm day Monday through Sunday (LOL) but yesterday she could tell, and that made me feel great.
