14 Weeks.

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

So I calculated today that I am 14 wks out from the first competition I would like to do. I now have to plan out my diet and start training harder (not that I haven’t been already).
I sit at 138lbs and would like to get down to atleast 125-128 which means cardio, cardio, cardio. I do not like cardio, has to be done but  H-A-T-E it. I figure I will start jogging in the morning before everyone wakes up and before my day gets hectic, it’s been nice out so why not. Three times a week to start more if I can stomach it.
It’s unfortunate that competing cost so much cause I have to budget it in on top of everyday life. One thing though I feel my best in competition mode.

Back on track

Friday, June 20th, 2008

Hello bodyspace world here I am again making the jump into competition training and dieting. I have been out of the gym for almost 2 months due to some kind of virus that knocked me on my ass. I was fatigued, had a sore neck, had periods of rushing energy, just crazy highs followed by lows causing my mind to be
in a fog. No clue what it was, lasted a month then disappeared. I feel fabulous now so I started back in the gym monday. Legs and shoulders started out my week, followed by bi’s and back, then tri’s and chest today.
It felt so good to be back working out it was good to find I hadn’t lost much strength if any at all. Still sore today, from leg day on monday and pretty sure my chest will be screaming bloody murder tomorrow but yeah for getting  back on track.
I also started eating like I should all the time, I put on 5-7lbs and sit at 138 at last weigh today, I want to get to 125-128. This means hard work and motivation, I will need to be on the ball this time around. No excuses cause slacking made me feel like crap!
