So I’ve got about 7 weeks until the competition and I have decided to go another way with my diet. I have been reading alot on bodybuilding.com and I came across CKD. It seemed interesting as I am really bored of the food I am eating now, and always feel like I am left unsatisfied after a meal. I was blown away, you get to eat food you like, you lose weight, you carb up once a week, and did I mention, you still lose weight!!!!!!. Now, I don’t think this is a diet that can be done constantly(some people are doing it though, not as extreme as doing it before a competition) but I can live with this diet, it is going to become my best friend for the last 7 weeks before the big debut.(lol) It’s been 2 days since I switched over and I feel good, I’ve had some moments of I can only decribe it as fog (been having that for the past 2wks though) I had so much energy today, as you can tell I’m still up, doing laundry, making lunches. But I feel good. Now I had to take 2 days off from lifting and cardio. I felt like I would just keel over, or fall asleep driving if I didn’t give myself a couple of days rest. Tomorrow is back to the gym, back and biceps tomorrow. We will see how that goes, with this diet. ummm….well that’s all I can really say for now, will be posting my weight tomorrow after the gym (crossing fingers) got to go make one more lunch for tomorrow and head off to bed. Oh I have picked the colors for my suit, one is going to be hot pink and the backup will be bright orange, both shiny material both very hot, excitement!!!!!!!!!!

I will be working on my shoulders and calves today. Looking forward to it cause I think my shoulders are an area that I need to work on. I am bidding on a pair of shoes on ebay, will hopefully get them for under $50 which will be awesome. Also checking into purchaseing Jan Tana so I can try it out before competition. I am dragging today, haven’t been sleeping on time the last few nights and it’s taking effect on me now. It’s also baseball season, so our first game is tonight at 8pm, it will be part of tonights cardio session. I love baseball, and since I’ve been working out mayber my swing will be even better.

So I checked my weight at the gym today, I am at 137lbs, a bit disappointing but still really good. I have less than 8 weeks to go until IDFA so I still have loads of time to keep cutting down(hopefully anyways) Did legs today and back, was a good workout, So I found a pair of shoes on Ebay that will cost me at the most $50 to buy. I decided to forgo the store here in ottawa, cause I just can’t part with $100 for a pair of shoes that I know I can get cheaper. So we will see how that turns out. Just found out my sister is going to be opening her own salon. She is probably haggling over the price of rent for the place right now. It’s absolutely awesome, she is a great hairstylist, people will come from anywhere to see her. She certainly will have to clientele to make it happen. I am excited for her. I told her “This is the year” I’ve been saying that to my friend also. Like this is the year that things are going to happen, I just have this feeling that this is the year that big things are going to happen for my family and my friends. Oh yeah, in two weeks it will be my 30th b-day, can’t wait for it

I had my cheat meal today, PIZZA, omg did it ever taste good. Alot better than grilled chicken ( that was on the pizza though) and vegetable (also on the pizza). But it tasted soooooooo good. I had an ok workout today, was tired though cause I was up late last night practicing posing in the mirror, didn’t get to be until after 1am. Got up at 5:30am and then my day started, cleaning, getting the kids ready and off to the gym. Worked check and triceps today.(also abs) I check my weight on Monday, will post that as soon as I find out, although I did check in today at the gym, it was umm…well……it’s was at 135 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I wasn’t at the same scale that I weighed myself on last time, you know the one where you have to push the weight over until it balances(don’t know what they are called) the one’s like the docter’s offices use. So again I will check on Monday though. Am I the only one, but even though you are supposed to allow yourself that cheat meal, don’t you still feel bad you had it. I do…. I fought it back and forth in my mind before I had the pizza, because I felt it was going to set me back??? Anyone have any experience with this feeling that I am feeling? Or am I just crazy?

It will exactley 8 weeks until competition date, eight weeks to work hard, eights weeks until I am on stage. Still haven’t found a song for my evening walk. I did hear a song the other day “Supernatural” it’s by a band called By Divine Right, I loved the sound of it, could see myself using it. I have to go and buy the CD just to make sure, every song that I hear now I am playing through my head if I can work with it for the competion. Still no definates yet. I did my workout last night, didn’t get to the gym until about 9:30pm, I was determined that I was going to go no matter what. I trained quads, hams and calves. I am a bit sore today, not as much as I thought I would be, just a slight ache, I am not sure if I need to switch up my routine on my legs. I started doing more weight and less reps, don’t know if I should be doing less weight and more reps. I will have to find that out. My shoulder doesn’t hurt today, it actually stopped hurting when I started the workout on my legs yesterday (???) So I am happy about that and I will have to take extra care next time I am working shoulders. So today is break day, just cardio when I get home and thats all, will be doing chest and triceps tomorrow and of course cardio. I will also be going to check out fabric for my contest suit (so exciting) and I found a place here in Ottawa to buy my shoes but they are telling me that they cost $100!!!!!!! I have seen the exact same shoes on ebay and other websites for half that price. That just blows me away……………I will probably order off of Ebay, need to save as much money as I can for the big day. Got to get back to work, enough for today

I trained my shoulders yesterday, a body part I think I need to work on. I pushed hard enough that today I can feel soreness in my shoulders. When I was doing my sets I notice that my left shoulder is not as strong. I think I might have damaged it when I first started working out last year. Needless to say I think it’s acting up now or it might just be sore from the workout not sure, I am looking forward to working out tonight cause it’s leg night, I always look forward to working my legs, even though I hate squatting and lunges but I don’t know, I love working my legs. I have been progressively going heavier each time I go so tonight I am putting it up a notch. I want to get that sweep in my quads, it’s so damn sexy..Anyways I ordered my shoes this week and still have to send in my registration for the IDFA show, looking into hotels and making sure my vehicle is up to making the trip to Toronto. I am also looking forward to after the show, my brother will be taking me and my friend on the town, I have never been out in the bars in Toronto, I am pretty sure they are loads better than the ones here ( not that I go out to bars often). It will be my birthday celebration seeing as dieting and birthdays don’t go together and my birthday is in 3 weeks ( the BIG 30:-0)..So off to get ready for the gym, we’ll see how the leg work goes………..

So I have been checking out bodyspace profiles this week and I have to say there are alot of people on here that are so inspiring, Like Chickentuna, that woman is ripped and beautiful and she’s in her late 30’s, that is something… Everytime I see her it makes me want to work even harder. I was extremely tired yesterday so I only did cardio. I always feel bad when I don’t get to do weights but when my body stops and I need to sleep I take the cue and do it. So today I feel great and well rested and I will be working my shoulders and calves today and doing cardio cause I just couldn’t pull myself out of bed this morning to do cardio before work. I actually think I am fighting a cold, everyone in my home has one or has just had one and I haven’t gotten sick yet. Well back to work, I am tempted to check the scale at the gym before I work out today just to make sure I am still at the same weight……
