Cause I got a GREAT feeling about coke and eggs! No workouts yesterday, or today. I have a final tomorrow in weight training and half of that is to lift more weight than my previous 180 on bench and 280 on squat. Though there are spotting you on the reps, I dont feel I actually accomplished 180 by myself, and I was definitely robbed from being allowed to go higher than 280 on squat. So tomorrow, 200 is my goal on bench, and 300+ is my goal on squat. I know I can nail the squat, the bench is going to be a bit scary. I dont like going extreme heavy cause I always fear the bar is going to smash my face in…
Coke and eggs. Im losing…weight? But at the same time really slow…but I can notice the visual changes on my body. So the goal of gaining muscle and losing fat at the same time is actually being accomplished. The stuff is definitely different to stomach, but I’ve been sucking it up…and I definitely feel horrible for anyone near me when I fart. It is not pleasant.
So I’ve bought maybe $1000 worth of supplements since I started. From musclemilk, monstermilk, cytogainer, vitakic, hydropremium, champion amino acids, xtend, blah blah blah, blah blah blah. Yeah. Proteins, gainers, vitamins, energy…I’ve actually stopped taking all those (still have some left, others I just never used again after 1 or 2 tries.) But mainly because while they were helping, how many ingredients did they have that the body just doesn’t need?
Introducing Shaklee. A health company that has been in existence since the 50s. All ingredients organic, all ingredients go through 350 tests each to confirm purity. Sounds nice and dandy. I might have to give them a try.
Coke n eggs.

Had my share of assh*les last night at work. Plus, the biggest assh*le showed up for the first time in a long time, and this time he cussed at me. I was already in a ****ty mood, plus I was sick, so I just gave him the evil eye.
…but…I told my boss today that last night was the final straw for this menace. Every employee has trouble with him. He breaks the rules and takes advantage of the privileges. I told them, the next time I see him and he does even the slightest thing out of line, and Im blowing up on him. To the point that I’ll probably get fired because of what would come out of my mouth. But thats how bad this guy is. I will take a bullet just so they dont have to deal with his ass no more.
Anyway, its cold. it was maybe 32-35 when I left work. And tonight its a low of 27…
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. GLOBAL WARMING MY MOTHER F*CKING ASS.
Okay, I’ve gotten used to the coke and eggs protein…shake? But I’ve run out of mexican coke already. Need MORE. Also more eggs. but I tell ya, the convenience of having a whole gym at my place works WONDERS. Now I really don’t have an excuse. YAY.

Cause I got a home gym now, and various other workout equipment. So yes, there is going to be a new routine. 2 workouts per day, morning and night time, and I’ll be concentrating once again on arms and chest. I’ll make sure to give both their needed rest, and make sure my post workout drink is up to par…
Post Workout Drink: 9.5oz of egg whites with a 12oz Mexican Coke. Why? Just to see what happens. They say egg whites are the best form of protein, and I’ll put it to the test. But I really don’t like taking the time to cook them so I’ll just mix it with Mexican Coke that is made with sugar cane vs. its American counter part that uses HFCS. So what do we need right after a workout? To replenish glycogen. What are some acceptable methods? Waxy Maize, Sugar cane, fructose (debatable). So I’ll throw those 2 together and we’ll see what happens in a month.
Yes, I know that raw eggs have that potential danger of causing food poisoning, but the numbers are low. I’ll take my chances. If I don’t log on for a week, the worst could have been possible. If I do log on and Im packing some muscle, wow!
I’ll be working out roughly 5 days a week again, and cardio will be included in some way. I won’t be going out drinking for a while so we’ll see what the results are in January.
I know I’ve had fallouts since I arrived in Austin, and I have my excuses that embarrass me. But now that I have a full gym in my home, there is no excuse. Im ready to make the best change ever.
Are you ready to see it?

And it had to do a lot with pride. I may not come off as the type, but I do have a lot of pride in things I do, and way too often too proud to admit things.
In this case, fitness. Yeah, I’ve said it again and again. ‘gettin back to fitness full tiime’ ‘doin it right this time’ ‘bring on the hurt’ ‘losing this gut’ blah blah blah. Yeah, once again I failed. I know why; Im not doing enough workouts. I know why; Im drained before I can get a decent workout in. I know why; Im sleep deprived.
I’ve said it before, but never let that be the reason for why Im not doing so good. Too proud to let something so simple be the reason. When I was getting some workouts in, I was kickin ass!…60% of the time…But I’m putting aside my pride and admit that this is my problem. And the problem does lie in me wanting to do everything (as I say in my previous blog) and in doing so I don’t get a steady sleep pattern nor even decent sleep.
So yeah, 25 days to get abs again…Failed.
In other news: One of the tv’s at the gym early this morning was airing an infomercial. Not just ANY infomercial, a DILDO infomercial. And it was weird cause it caught me off guard, but there it was. A dildo infomercial with 2 ladies talkin about dildos they were selling and they were grabbin, bending, vibrating, slapping (okay I made that one up) these dildos. I was appalled!…that this was on at 2am and not at 7am in the morning so I could switch every tv in the cardio room to this channel…

1st- I just uploaded the 2 last videos from my show on the 17th of Oct. 2 covers that I do are Folsom Prison Blues and Every Rose has its Thorn. Check’em out and let me know what ya think!
2nd- I am doing quite good on my quest for decent abs in 25 days. I think Im down to maybe 21 days or so, but Im sure I can get there. Im going to start riding my bike to work, so 6 miles up, 6 miles down…damn! If I want abs, cardio is the way…Plus, I started up Tabata again. I forgot how much I hated it. SOOOOooo effective (it was the direct result to my pictures in May 09) but it is a BI*CH!
3rd-Health Care Bill WAS passed through the House of Representatives. Now its on to the Senate where Im sure it will be passed as well, then Big Boy Obama WILL sign the damn thing. Granted, there is some good to this. I mean, free health care and EVERYONE is eligible! WOOHOO! Well, ALMOST free. You see, in a 10 year span, they plan to spend nearly 1.2 trillion dollars for government health care. They WILL take more of our hard earned money. They WILL control the hospitals and make it mandatory for people to get shots vaccines and anything else they can think of. They WILL penalize people for not getting health care coverage.
This is one of the 1st steps to a socialist country.
Welcome to America. Land of the Sheep, Home of the Enslaved.
Okay Im done.

So yesterday, Im on my way to work. JUST as I take the exit on the highway, my bike runs out of GAS. Now, I am only approximately 800-1000 meters away from work. Best part? Its up hill. Even better? Im on my bike.
Now, I usually get there with enough time to change into my uniform, strike up a quick chat with the guy or gal Im relieving, and begin my shift. Now I know Im gonna be late, but now I noticed I didnt bring my phone! Now this makes things better cause its 10:50pm and everything is closed. Yay for me.
So I did the only thing I could do. I started pushing. No way Im just gonna abandon my bike in an empty parking lot. After about 10 minutes of pushing, I see blockbuster. I stop the bike, and walk in. I called the guy and said Im gonna be late so he wouldn’t get mad. Then I went back outside and started pushing again. Then, EVEN in 50 degrees weather, I got HOT. I took off my jacket and pushed again. I pushed for maybe 25 minutes, all uphill. I got tired, sore, but was feeling the great workout.
Thankfully, there was an HEB gas station I’ve never noticed just before my turn, so I went in there and got gas. Then I hopped on my bike and rode for 3 minute and got to work.
Try pushing a 650lb bike uphill for an AMAZING workout you’ll never forget!
HAPPY HALLOWEENIE THE POOH!

That’s my saying that I used more in the beginning of the year to just get my ass in the gym and do the damn thing. And the results in May were the best I’ve ever had in my life. I had the best abs, the tightest chest, the biggest arms, most detailed quads in my life. As cocky as I’ll sound: I looked GOOD. That was my biggest accomplishment in fitness so far.
Since then, the lovely stressors of life took over. Change of location, change of careers, change of life in general (and Im STILL happy to have left the damn service). But since, I’ve noticed, fitness wise, that my body has changed as well and not for the better. Im finding it more and more difficult to get close to the body I had in May. I saw another picture where Im not posing and my arms were big! (compared to what to what I always had and what they are now…)
Even though I work at a gym, I try to remain professional and not work out while on duty. Afterward, Im so sleepy that I just want to get home and sleep. Then, in the whole mess in trying to find another job to keep up with the bills, cleaning my place, and finding damn documents for the military to support my disability claim and then screw up my sleeping schedule to attend school and finally still wanting to perform at musician’s open mic nights…damn.
And nutrition wise, when I work, I tend to eat a lot of rice and beans. Figure that’ll give me one of the best combination of fat, carbs and protein along with essential vitamins and minerals. Plus I drink a lot of water. But on my off days, Im so tired of eating the same thing I break the habit and eat junk, mainly because it is available, but also because I need to keep moving to do get to school, open mic, veteran’s affairs…
And lastly, yeah, all the political bullsh*t going on about the swine flu, Copenhagen treaty, and even more troops being sent off to fight a pointless war is robbing a lot of my attention. Sorry, I know a lot of people think this is all just meaning less conspiracies and the people that talk about it are loony. But when sh*t does hit the fan, and we begin to pay for CO2 that we produce by any means, and its going to scratch the heads of the common people, and fill the rich with even more money that they will be able to do anything they want. And if you don’t believe this, listen to our ‘fearless’ president say it through his own mouth. ‘Force’ and ‘that will cost money’ are used.

Sorry, but this is whats going on in my head. I want to get physically prepared. I want to have the body I had in May. But I do need more legal tender notes to pay bills and a place to live. Food to eat. I wish I could get that May body back, but its going to be a true challenge this time. Unless I completely dedicate my full time to fitness, I dont know if I can make it possible.
In good news, I am finally taking the first step in becoming a boot camp instructor. I think this will help me out a lot, but thats if they decide to hire me.

Live from the Beauty Bar in downtown Austin. All ages welcome, 21 to be at the bar.
Tickets $8 for advance, $10 at the door.
3 Original songs plus cover songs by Johnny Cash, CCR, and maybe the Eagles!
Im pretty excited, nervous, and also in gear!
I did it over the summer where I dropped everything and concentrated on nothing but fitness. I increased my score for my PT test and got my 95.
This time its just slightly different. Im going to work on the chest, the arms, and try to bring out the six pack just a smidge.
Hello Tabata! Its been a while…
Ready for the pain, and the hate.

I kinda meant wait, but did it like that purposely. Why? Must I have a reason? Give me a reason why we exist, and I’ll give you the reason between weight and wait.
Off track…as usual.
Anyway, weight is down to 139 again. Good, bad, dont really know yet. Abs are popping out again. I knew they were enjoyin the extra layer of fat during those cold cold summer months in texas…(sarcasm) but it was time to trim down and am doing it rather well.
2 things that are definitely helping:
1: Budget. I can’t afford to go out every time I had a craving, and not feel too guilty cause I was working out a sh*t ton. Can’t buy lots n lots of food so I have to definitely keep an eye on my portions.
2: Budget: I can’t DRINK as much as I used to. Which wasn’t a lot to begin with. Maybe once or twice every 2 weeks. but I’d go OUT to drink. But I guess budget and lack of acquaintances here in austin both aid my lack of intoxication. Good, bad, dont really know yet.
But anyway, fitness classes nearly every day on top of my weight training which is shoulders/traps, legs, back, chest. Then 3 days off. My legs are still sore, and my abs are crying for mercy! Every single fitness class has an 15 minute abs portion. Its not much, but Im always trying for the harder challenges they provide cause I can do that.
Can you?
